Welcome to PSO-World.com's Ambition of the Illuminus Launch Party! The much-anticipated expansion to Phantasy Star Universe is almost here and we're throwing one big party to celebrate its arrival! There are some exciting contests planned for the event and everyone will have a chance to win some REALLY great prizes. We've teamed up with Sega to offer some truly awesome Phantasy Star Universe collectibles, including items autographed by PSU Producer Takao Miyoshi and PSU Director Satoshi Sakai! You may remember a similar version of this contest, which was held during our 5th anniversary celebration. Like it's predecessor, this site-wide item hunt turns every page of PSO-World.com into a possible contest page. By simply logging in to your PSO-World account and browsing through the site's content, you'll be able to find Rappy Feathers that are randomly appearing throughout the site, each one redeemable for an entry into our Mega Raffle! You'll know when you've discovered a Rappy Feather because the following will appear at the top of the page you are viewing:

Just click on the "Redeem" button and the page will refresh, adding your entry to your account. Once the page reloads, you'll get a confirmation message in a similar box, stating that your entry was redeemed, along with a count of your total entries in the contest. It's that easy! Rules:
This contest is available to users with PSO-World.com accounts. Registration is 100% free and there is no purchase necessary to participate in this contest. Any user attempting to set up multiple accounts or tamper with the entry system for the purpose of gaining more entries will be disqualified from the contest and will have their user priviledges revoked. Users are limited to one entry per day via the official contest page, and are limited to an undisclosed number of "Rappy Feather " entries per day as well. The entry period for this contest will continue until December 1st, 2007 @ 11:59PM PST. Winners will be randomly chosen from all redeemed entries after the conclusion of the Fan Works Competition voting period. Winners will be announced on the front page. Any winners who will be receiving prizes that require shipment will need to provide a name and valid shipping address for where the item(s) are to be sent. Winners who are not located in the U.S. may be subject to additional restrictions, but we will do our best to accomodate our international members. Prizes must be claimed within five days of the winners being announced or they are subject to being forfeited. Contest void where prohibited.

Humorous Fan Art Fan Art with jokes related to Phantasy Star Universe or Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus. Whether it's stick-figures or high-quality CGs, keep it clean and make it as funny as possible. These entries will be judged on humor.

Rules:
All entries should either be related to the category for which they are being submitted. Submissions for the humor category must be in by 11:59 PM EST on December 1st, 2007 (extended from previous date of November 25th). Submissions for the Phantasy Star Universe (quality) category must be in by 11:59 PM EST on December 1st, 2007. All submitted content should conform to site rules. You are allowed to make multiple submissions, but may not submit an entry to multiple categories. Any works that are posted on PSOW (either in the Fan Works forum or appropriate Gallery) prior to the start of the contest are not eligible for submission. Also, any entries that are posted in Fan Works before the contest ends will be disqualified.

Judging Process:
Once the submission period has ended, special galleries will be set up - one for each category. PSO-World.com users will then have the chance to vote for their favorite piece in each category. The winner for a particular category will be the piece with the largest number of votes. Once voting has finished and a winner has been determined, results will be posted on the front page.

Prizes:
Prizes will be handed out for the first, second, and third place winners in each category. The prizes will vary depending on where you place.

Submission Process:
All submissions should be sent using the Private Message system to either HUNewearl_Meira or Ryna. When you submit your entry, be sure to indicate what category you are submitting it for. Also, be sure to send us a link to the location where your image is hosted! If you need a place to host your image, we recommend Photobucket.com.
