• Various EP 3 News!

    lollipoplolita writes, "

ST posted today announcing that a Japanese Nintendo magazine, "NINTENDO Dream Vol 100" which will go on sale on Monday, October 6, in Japan will feature a CD containing new theme music from EP 3 titled "Let The Winds Blow." The CD will also contain theme music from EP 1&2 and Sega's new upcoming game "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg."

Meanwhile, reservations for EP 3 full release has begun at SegaDirect. Those that did reserve their copies from Sega Direct will receive a pack of 10 randomly chosen free cards like the ones below.

In the last Tokyo Game Show, which just recently ended, Sega was giving out Rappy Feather balls in limited quantities to promote the upcoming release of EP 3. Cute, too bad we can't get it out here.

The Tokyo Game Show, however, proved to be a huge success for Sega and especially EP 3. There were special EP 3 playing booths for people to try the game out, each restricted to an 8 minute playing time.

Card parameters and stats were further adjusted based on the information gathered from the Trial and the Tokyo Game Show.

And finally, more views of the PSO Trilogy box.

This was a good update with some nice pictures. Although I really can't tell what the devil that Rappy Feather Ball is. Is it, by any chance, a super ball? *Sunblast looks hopeful.*

Keep an eye on Ebay..somebody has to be selling one soon...

Or maybe poke ST about this? "Hey, I'll pay 3 bucks plus whatever is shipping for a rappy feather ball. Deal?"

If that happens, we will have to have some kind of deal at like Target or Toys'R'Us where the first 25 people to buy EP3 or EP1&2+ get a free rappy feather ball...

      A replica Delsaber Buster...O.O

Yeah that rappy feather ball is cool but i really want that PSO TRILOGY package since it comes with ep1&2plus and ep3 and the fact that they are universal accounts so im paying only $3 bucks a month which is 12 bucks for three months right for the jp game? Well i wonder when they are going to release the package and how much it costs because i have the american version and my gamecube can play jp games so all i have to do is cancel my american subscription and then buy the japanese subscription.

      hrmm...

If you look on the top of the demo machines, there's rappy balls...6 per machine.

Soooo if there were 4 machines with 6 balls each, ST had 24 balls that people could just snatch up.

I am SURE they had more.

I've got my bet on Rappy Feather Balls. There probably weren't just 24, as they probably refilled them often.

There *were* loads more than 24. They came in sealed grey bags and basically you were given one for playing Episode 3 at TGS. The bags were opaque grey since the type of Rappy Ball you won was random. Rag Rappy (Yellow) was the most common but there were Blue Al Rappy and Pink Love Rappy balls to be had if you were lucky. I only got a yellow Rag Rappy ball.

Keep in mind that Japanese GC games come in smaller boxes!

(P.S. I'm assuming you're not owning the Japanese versions here obviously)

o_O; They do? Huh. Interesting. That actually brings up another thought-- What's up with American GC game cases? They've got that thing on the side like there's something you can slide in there and lock it. What's the deal with that?
