• No More Double Save Feature

      Wouldn't the 'Cube freezing during a single save still mess with you? Or was it mostly a problem with it freezing in between the two saves of the Double Save? Either way, this is the way it should have been before, because using Double Save as a way to stop dupes did absolutely nothing.

      Whoa! Hehe double save got me once, and they take it down after I quit. Doh! Well this is good news anyway

      I would think a LOT of GC gamers will come back to PSO after this news...I can think of a dozen that I know specifically.

      FSOD-X is still out there, it's just less likely with less saves.

      congratulations players of PSO-GC. its always sad to hear of people losing their hard work to corruption. Hopefully this will reduce that somewhat

      The chances of you getting FSOD X with a singles save is cut by 99.9%, In case you didnt notice, in the first save, the screen is black and doesnt allow any action other than saving, and on the second, it does. I see the possibility getting corrupte on the first save ONLY IF you get the overhead p2 view b4 you save, then it doesnt stall action on the save.

      I never got hit with it, but its nice to know the risk is gone now.

      The game will save before you even get the chance of being overhead on P2.

      All saving went uninterupted, except if someone gave you their guild card. That's why it was always Safe. If the double save was uninterupted, then there probably wouldn't be any chances of FSOD-X. But after all, it was pointless anyway since there are other methods of duping.

      The only thing we really have to worry about now is power outages/stupidity while saving-- which pretty much goes for any game.

      its no big deal most online games dont leave bugs like tht for 3 WHOLE YEARS only ST cud make tht mistake.......biiiiiig mistake

      I'm new to GC PSO (I used to have DC version), This data curruption only happens on online games right? If you playing solo at home it's okay right?

      Yeah... You could pull your card out, and take a powerdrill to your GameCube, and you save would still be all right, when playing offline.

      Or, alternately, while offline, you could unplug your GameCube and drop it, and your save would still be fine, provided you don't bust up your memory card when the GameCube falls. Offline is rather stable like that.

      I hear it's back again. :'( I can't confirm or deny though, since I've never had and trouble with the double save, or know anything about it. I just heard in the lobby from credible sources.

      This is an amazing blessing to people like me (Ghengis KhanE085) who have no way to recover from file corrupt, especially since i'm starting to collect hacked mags, my friend will rejoice as he got file corrupt two days in a row!! I can finally start using hacks without worrying for my safety..... I hope

      This is amazing news cuase its already lost my chars befor at high lvls but is this only for oline or is it in pso ep 1&2 plus?????

      incidently ( i hope thats spelt right) the double save is only gone in the EU and japanise lobbys.

      its still there in the US

      and in fact its not even gone at all!!!

      just once in a while there is no double save

      polaris 3 still has it, and so does meriope 3

      Yea, ST hates americans cause we are the ones who dupe and shiet. Im guessing thats why they forsake us with corruption.
