Sonic Team has posted news of an Episode I & II quest to be uploaded to US and JP servers on the 29th of June.

The laboratory has obtained enough data to compile a VR simulation of Gal Da Val Island. The new system is known as VES.

In addition to the existing VR Spaceship and VR Temple, every location on Gal Da Val Island has been reproduced faithfully, right down to the enemies. This makes for a tough quest!

At the end of each area, of course, an enormous boss appears! In order to reach the boss, as well as defeat it, co-operation with your teammates will be indispensable.

A rank will be gained after completing the mission, based on number of enemies destroyed, time taken to complete the mission, and number of team fatalities. Use all your knowledge and skills to aim for a high rank!

Oh? It seems a secret is hidden in the VR system as well! It seems to be linked to a secret faction inside the laboratory, conspiring with a certain organisation...

There are multiple ways to complete the quest, but please enjoy the battle that never ends!

In addition, Blue Star Memories is expected to be uploaded to EU servers, along with the two Episode III download quests, Future Bullet and Future Forecast."

Nice, a reason to go back. Hopefully we'll be seeing 'EP 2 TTF' all over Vega instead of 'TTF'

Well an update at last....but why no announce ment of Episode three release in the EU or the other things that have been happening in the EU?

because PSOWorld doesn't need to post every time someone farts or finds a nickel on Ep3..I'm sure everyone's annoyed by the fact that they keep trying to ignore E1&2..now if we could just get them to quit letting us know every time someone farts on Blue Burst..

Blue burst... seems that will become a huge hit, besides it surely will end the storyline for this game,since Universe its coming.Now PSU would be a completely different storyline, so enjoy PSOBB. because it will be the last u gonna see about this game.

Maybe not, but at least you can still play the good ol' PSO (both the Dreamcast Version 1 and 2, as well as the first PC PSO), on a few private servers. I tried posting a news article about it, but it seems the PSO-world staff have better things to do than give a heads up for all the "retro" PSO fans out there.

Even lets the PC players play on the same servers as the DC players (now why didn't Sega ever think of that as a good thing, hmm?).

the quest really isn't worth it anyway..the SS-Rank on Ultimate mode is just a complete Custom set (Custom Ray, Custom Frame, Custom Barrier)..on lower dificulties it's a friggin scape doll. and Olga gives NO experience.

yeah, no problem. I'm wondering if maybe the news nazis decided that posting to a FREE server, that lets you revive your good old DC V.1 and V.2 characters, and play with those on the PC version (with all sorts of goodies, like choosing whether to allow hacked items or not), and even has the software needed to set up your own PSO server, to let clans have their own private home, away from the smacktards.

THIS JUST IN: If you complete the quest on Ultimate 4 times, fully completing the side quest portion, on the fourth time, you get a new shield called the WORKS Guard. It looks like a blue version of the Custom Barrier, and I hear it can be personalized with a number of your choosing.
