Well according to IGN, PSO Plus is gonna be coming to the US this August. Its said to be priced at $29.99. So I guess the US offliners can get their share of the goodies without importing.
Heh, took you long enough to find out about this bit of information. I was going to contact you about it when I found out on July 10, 2004, but I figured you would eventually discover it. Anyway, you should probably update your page for the game to say it is being released in the US. I really can't wait for it, though, because I missed out on the original. I can't wait to finally be able to play PSO online!!
There was some question concerning the validity of the news at first, so I don't blame eRUPT for sitting on it. However, now it can be confirmed on both Sega and Nintendo's site.
One of the nice things about this site is that the news is generally rather reliable, because it typically isn't posted until it's been confirmed.
considering ive know about this for over a month......... yeash!
well atleast this way i know its fully confirmed so no worrys there. now i just gota whonder will they require you to have beaten episode 1 and episode 2 on ultimate dificulty or if you can transfer at any time.
and when we do transfer will we have to go threw normal dif all over again?
I'd suspect it'll be like DCv1 upgrading to DCv2. You just load your character with the new version, the save data is converted, and any new quests pop up at the guild counter.
Hey guys i'm very confused abot this PSO EP I&II PLUS....what is it with this game? is it a new one or something? does it has a new map and such?? so what's the difference between this one and the old one, and also win which consoles will arrive???
In any case, as I recall, the upgrade from DCv1 to DCv2 removed only illegal items from your inventory, and the upgrade from JP GCv1.0 to JP GCv1.1 illiminated all items in your inventory, but that's never been a problem for US or EU players, as only Japan had a v1.0 and v1.1 difference.
I was one of the people who got the import right away, since i have the freeloader to boot it up,plus it could be played in english.I plan to get the usa version when it comes out,but i'm also going to hang onto my japan version as well, since i collect and play alot of japanese games.(currently i have 28 japanese games in my collection,my faves are my Ranma 1/2 Puzzle Fighter for SNES,Sailor Moon S for Game Gear,Rockman Mega World for Genesis and PSO Plus for the cube). However,IGN might be wrong about the date,i checked Sega of America's website today, they list it as October 29th of this year, not august like IGN claims.Either way,i'm buying it...lol
Now who was it that told me that PSO+ would never come to the US... oh ya it was Zaneatron, DruidMettool, and Nites... I'm sure glad they know whats goin' on.
Problem here is that we're not game designers, and the community is barely big enough to have discussions anymore so things get circular fast, but, yes,
