      I just hope that they don't charge an absurd amount of money to play this thing. I mean Final Fantasy 11 is just too expensive to play, and not worth it. It better resemble the fighting of ep 1 and 2 and not click to attack and hope to win.

      can we really trust a german site mostly because alot of them are ficticious rumors remember the nintendo nexsus who knows maybe its fake may be its legit which I doubt but still I would enjoy more than only 4 ppl playing let the one thousand person battles begin Lol

      pso is dead and buried

      an MMO would be great if they keep it as an action game, none of this click on attack and wait for either you or the monster to die crap.

      I think the game would be good as long as they keep the way you attack the same, also it would be good if they could give it a good story line and a reason to play it, you know, to maybe find out what happened to someone or maybe why/how dark falz came to be or something. I dont really know that much about it or even PSO for the gamecube, but all i care about is if its addicting so it can get my attention and keep it, i think that nomatter how bad the storyline might be or the even the gameplay, just so long as something else draws my attention to it.

      You know, I really hate it when a pso hater ruins the game for every one. You jerks should know just because a game is dead to you, it is not dead to every one else. Please refrane from ruining the game with your "dead" comments. PSO is not dead to my guild PSOElites after 1.5 years, its not dead to the new guys that buy PSO, and when PSU comes out (and many are looking forward to it, obviously not you), it will be alive and the PSO that should have been. I agree that Sonic Team could have done better on PSO, however from my point of view, they are just newbies in the computer engineering business. 2005 will be an interesting year in games and otherwise.

      yeah psu will hopefuly be an improvement on the card battle i dont think i would have the will to play it over again like i have pso 1&2 none of that card bullshit should have ever been put into the gameing industrie, im a fan of real time and turned based but if i wanna play cards ill grab a dam deck, and they need to do something about there dam hunters licence i nevers saw the point of it i havent been on in half a year because it wont let me purchase one

      the sad fact is some person is on a pso fan/news site belittleing it. you honnestly need more hobbies to avode your being a complete waste of skin. he even has a registered screen name for the forum. its a shame you lost so much enjoyment from pso but thats most likely due to A) you cant play worth a damn B) you used duped and modded items and lost the or never had the joy of FINDING your gear or C) your just a moron who thinks what ever he doesnt like MUST suck. thus is why human kinda as a whole is doomed to killing our selves in a violent war with nukes and other large scale weapons of death. enjoy your mediocrity and do shoot yourself promptly in the head.

      the card aspect of pso was in my view good. i played magic for years untill the cost of upgrading just to compete was too high. a game based on that with the shining forceish grid system is quite a bit more fun then most expected.if you dislike card based combat dont play and dont insult it for it not being to your liking. i still play ep1/2 (mostly cmode due to GC problems) and it is enjoyable after all these years. turn based and real time combat both have their place in gaming the card turn based does too. but you must respect other styles as well. look at EQ and FFxi its low interaction combat but look at its draw. just relax and kill things in the seabed till your properly vented.

      The Hunter's License? What don't you get? The fact that you have to pay for it? How else do you expect to play the game? You can't go on to a MMORPG-like game and expect to play for free. The devs have to maintain the servers, the ones that you are on. Without maintanance, the servers would go down, then you'd have no where to play. It makes perfect sense. Just be happy that a Hunter's License is much cheaper than most other MMORPGs. FFXI, for example, runs at $12.95 a month + $1 extra / character after your first one (limit 15 total characters). PSO is $8.95 a month with NO LIMIT on your characters! Personally, I had four memory cards going back when I used to play PSO. Two belonged to my brothers, one was mine, and the third was just a test memory card.

      If they can pull off the action style of PSO we know, while porting it into a genuine MMORPG universe, I will be a very, very happy man.

      Impossible, since monster movements aren't transferred. If they did transfer monster movements as well as player movements, you broadband might be required.

      .. But then again, I'm probably the only one with dialup at their house anymore. That is, until the end of September.

      Yeah, having the Hunter's License is in order to pay for everything in the company. They might not sell enough, plus .. Fan base comes from telling everyone how good it is so who cares if it's a measly $10 a month? Or $9 a month? Doesn't matter as long as you can afford it, you like it, and you're not just buying it for the sake of popularity.

      PSO is here to stay, compared to what Satoshi had said 'FFXI' we don't need to pay extra for character limit. Be happy we had PSO and may have something similar like PSU.
