• Mac PSOProxy Released

Anonymous writes, "Just wanted to let you know that we now have a Mac version of our Gamecube PSO snapshot transfer utility, PSOProxy

As far as we know, this should work on any version of OS X, but probably won't work on earlier versions (although the source code may well compile with minimal changes should anybody wish to give it a try).

Since neither of the developers of PSOProxy have access to Macs, we've not been able to test this release as we would with the Windows and Linux versions, but it should work fine. As always, of course, you use it at your own risk.

Err, this thing is still not working. I choose UNM, didn't work with them, I try others. Wtf is going on.

Could you describe in further detail what you mean by "not working"? When you say you chose UNM, it makes me think that you're just having problems downloading it from one of the mirrors at Sourceforge... You might try the North Carolina one, it always goes fast for me (but I live in Texas, so your milage may vary).

Hmm. Ok well I followed all of the instructions but when I click on website on main pso menu, it just stalls. Its late and I need to play a little, so tomorrow I will try again. I think I may need to reorganize my network/ip addresses.

When i try to do the test to see if pso proxy is working it says: couldnt connect to http://127.0.0.1:8080/ because the adress 127.0.0.1 could not be found?

I even tried going straight through withot router and recieved same message when trying to access that adress.

      any ideas?

Disregard my last posts. I got it to work perfect now, everything works great, tried on powerbook g4 12 and 15 running osx 10.2.5. on an etrhernet cable network, and wireless network. Very Cool. Thank you very much for this awesome program.

I've encountered NO bugs so far. Gosh, you guys are AWESOME! Finally, a developer that doesn't ignore us 'ol Mac users.
BTW I use a 700MHz PowerPC G4 if it helps.

That means your IP address or port isn't correct. Also, you might have to change from a static IP to a dynamic IP.
