So, I need some shop advice...

I'm planning to open up a shop again. Notice the use of the word 'again'? I opened one once before, but it flopped. Horribly. I barely made back my investment and had to close before it totally drained my funds.


That being said, I would like some advice from the economists on this board (use small words, please). Just an idea on how I should run this thing so it actually makes me a profit. Any help would be appreciated and will earn you a heaping spoonful of love.

How can you start losing money from a shop?

I guess you should try selling things you find instead of buying things to sell? And if you're on PC/PS2, two words: Ray. Photons.

Why would you close your shop just because your stuff wasn't selling? It doesn't drain any funds when you don't, uh, spend money on it.
