I have seen this before, although it was created while the creature was alive.

well it was alive while it did it, just that the picture i have was better when it was dead, didn't seem to affect it's stats or anything though

That's its animation for charging an attack.

It's just some sort of graphical glitch that happens from time to time. I once had the swirly purple circle from Buten Shuren-zan stuck in one spot of Mizuraki.

Hmm... The last time I seen that, one of my friends cried out "ooo Rainbow Shield."

The kamatoze are the only ones that I've seen do that so far.

I've had this happen in relics, it was just running a constant animation, no idea what it was, looked cool tho

Perhaps it has to do with it casting Rentis (Kamatouze do cast rentis). I can't really think what the rentis casting animation looks like off the top of my head though...

I remember that right when the shield busted, it did damage to everyone surrounding it. Did you recieve any infliction due to the shield?

That looks cool but it looks like a dagger PA.

And the bubble looks weird.

i have your answer that "bubble" is the explosion of the Strom Buster missile (im a cast and see it every 5 min.)

because, some ppl may "accuse" them of hacking or sumthing, and they dont want there names out there, when clearly its just a game/connection glitch.

I just did it cause it was a group of randoms I was with and i didn't want them to get annoyed http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Sometimes when ppl are in the middle of a PA and leave/dc the animaton is still there. o_O

Its not merely restricted to relics. At the Lab S run, when I lure the bugs far enough from their spawn and they dissappear, if they are on fire, often the flames will remain in the air. I have a pic on my desktop I can post later. (On the laptop atm)

For me personally is to just keep the privacy of the other people in the mission with me and to keep my own.
And why do you want to know the name and lvls so badly?
not like it'll matter either way, just perferance

It's just generally a good idea. Not too long ago, people on this site had to start removing their character names from their signatures because the script kiddies were intentionally targetting PSOW members for room hacks.

Ok, I suppose that's a quasi explanation but people were doing this when PSU JP first came out which meant no hacks etc. Do people really think theyre that popular in a "video game" that they need to conceal their identities? Why make the effort in my opinion?

there's really no point in knowing them anyway, not sure why you care so much

I've had the same occur; I once kicked Laia Martinez while she initiated her Axe PA. There was Purple Tornado permanently swirling in place. Standing in the middle made it seem like I had an Extra Slot Unit that gives your character an elemental animation like Black/Electro Heart.

Actully that was due to the NRA (Think that's the right one) agreement during the JP closed Beta. People would hide the names so they could post pics and movies without directly relieveing their character and get into trouble for breaking it.

NDA. Non-Disclosure Agreement. Breaking one of those things can get you sued very, very hard. I think Sony Online Entertainment got close to a million, from some guy who posted an in-game picture of a Wookiee from Star Wars Galaxies, while it was in beta.

...NRA is the National Rifle Association. :/
