I was restarting the first mission on Moatoob (can't remember the name for some reason) to get the map where the Bil de Vear spawns at the beginning, cos that's the one where you encounter loads of them... and after about 5 attempts, it loaded up a scene that was unfamiliar to me...
Curious, me and my friend (Jonty here on PSOW, or Isobel on PSU) decided to investigate. And sure enough, the map was totally new to us...
The only major noticable difference (apart from the general shape of Moatoob maps) was the two "sand bridges" we had to cross.
I can't remember if we found anything of value, but we did encounter our fair share of Bil de Vears...
So I was wondering, if rare items/weapons/enemies exist as we all know, do rare verions of mission maps appear? I say "rare" in the sense that in all mine and Isobel's runs through Moatoob, we hadn't seen that particular map...
Anyone else think they have been on a rare verion of a map? Or know anything?
