Methinks Neudaiz was not meant to be popular

I'm sitting in front of the Neudaiz flyer base on uni 1 right now, there is only about 30-40 people there, not much bigger than Parum or Colony groups. But every time you go anywhere near the flyer base you are met with a massive wall of slowdown.

I think it is due to the decor... anyone else think this New Year's event is a SEGA ploy to discourage Onma S runs?

i love playing on neudaiz i like the challenge of it except the worm challenge(they're more of an annoyance) but yeah im on there now. i dont really get any slowdowns there and im on a laptop with a intel chipset 910/915

People, you have to remember he is on 360...completely different servers and stuff than PS2/PC...I actually see quite a few people at Neudaiz...still less than Parum but that is expected...

Currently spamming Mizuraki Defense S. Over, and over, and over...

34 Mission Points and a PA Fragment isn't a bad reward, and I'm certainly not complaining about the 3800 Meseta... However, the small number of layouts for the mission, is kinda getting on my nerves.

Oh and on a laptop, no slowdown. Just 640x480, with frameskip set to 1...

If they wanted to make Neudaiz unpopular, they wouldn't have rewarded so many missions points for each run. I think just the opposite, that they WANTED people going to Neudaiz. If Neudaiz only gave 20-25 MP for the Sranks, hardly anyone would run them.

I absolutely love Neudaiz. I occasionally go there to solo Mizu S for rares. I just go as far into the first block as I can without getting annoyed by worms and then restart. Sometimes I'll do the whole thing if the monster spawns are decent. A couple times I've gotten 11* items on the first drop, even without luck.

It's just that there was one supposed hacker, who has banned within hours from XBL. The PC version is the one with billions of hacked meseta floating around in it.

Going back on topic, I've been actually playing Neudiaz a good bit as well. But I do go back to Parum to do the Parum runs past De Ragan. Still, without a strong full party, I won't be talked into doing an A rclass of that Megid spewing Jarba mission, so easily again. Still, it payed off well even with an A ranking, because it didn't turn into a disaster. Megids aren't exactly the easiest things to dodge, once they get that fast. I needed my full run speed to dodge them as they turn rather quickly on you (enough to match your run speed).

Neudiaz, I actually like, right now, specifically for how often you deal with status ailments. I'm trying to max reverser, so it's a nice place to do it and be relatively safe, as well. The Meseta drops are pretty decent, but I find more wand drops and stuff there. Anything to help me raise my PMs technique for less.

Lets just leave it with this: The hacking is just as noticable on 360 as it is on PC. Which is, you probably wouldn't notice it at all if it wasn't for people blowing it out of proportion on forums. Indeed, I only referred to it as "the best mission ever" cause that's how everyones referring to it. The mission reward is so good that it detracts from the game really, you're better off without it.
