Line shields physical screens

Ok so i was looking for any screens shots of the line shields physical screen the one that apears when ya block.I have expereimented(on ps2 mind you) and noticed EVERY shield is different.Their colors and shapes mitgh be similar but always not the exact same.So i wanted to know who else noticed this and who might have screens of it.

yeah, it was like that ever since, even on PSO.
well, the trick is that you have to time stuff accordingly to do a snapshot. or you make a movie. one of my plans to snap all these but i didnt get around it so far.

aye i knwo it has been here since pso but i was curious as to whom might be tryign to snap em all they are just cool looking.Also i thin kteh best way to grab a screen of oen is to have someone follow your high lvl round i na low rank mission.Then have them take snaps froma a front view to get a better shot.

As far as I know it just gets bigger with each rank of armor, and each brand armor has a diffrent one.

so a C rank armor has a smaller "block" than B or A, and each brand should have a block design associated with it. Sparing rare armor wich may be unique.

I always thought that the color was based on your armor's element. For example, my current armor has no element and the block animation is green. However, when I don my dark armor, the animation is purple and I believe when I had ice based armor it was blue. But I never payed much attention to it.

It's by color, I believe.

GRM = Blue
Yohmei = Green
Tenora = Red

I've used Yohmei armors all my character's life and I've never had a blocking field that wasn't green.

Edit: Also, I believe the area of the blocking field is by rank - C-ranks are the smallest and A-ranks are quite large. I'll get some shots of my Gi-senba's field and my Nafri-senba's field later to compare.

I'm gonna have to put my Ageha-Senba dark based armor on again tonight and test this...I SWEAR it's purple....and when I had my Gi-Senba, I SWEAR it was blue....but I could be mistaken. I am color blind, you know!

Ahh, correct info: The picture of the shield changes each grade. I used some 11* material overcharge duped meseta to just buy all the armours my wartech could equip. Will post pictures soon.

C armour to the left
B armour to the right

Damm large shields, smaller ones make the parrying seem more skilled.

Thanks everyone this should help others clear up these questions as well.


If possible lets see some pics of the shields with different elements.Just to confirm or debunk the color change theory.

No, middle left picture I posted - I've got an Sta senba equipped which is light only. Still gives the same default green yohmei colour.
