My first rare creature sighting

Considering that I've been playing PSU since its North American release and had yet to spot a rare creature, I'm pretty excited about this. Early this morning, shortly after midnight, I was playing through Valley of Carnage with my roommate and we found a pack of three Jaggos! We circled the little guys for a bit before killing them, just so we could see how they act, what they do, etc. They're uh... disturbingly cute, I guess I could say; a demented evolution of a Chao. Anyway, after we finished studying them, we neutralized them all (only to have them burrow back underground; didn't know they did that like Rappies) and collected their drops. They left behind two Jao Delmas and about 1200 meseta. My roommate and I each got a Delma, but I'm not sure who got the meseta. (On the Jao Delma, I wish that mistranslation would be fixed. In the Japanese version it's clearly called Jaggo Derma.)

Nice! I've only run into the Jaos once. They are really cute, until they open their mouths. >.< They also make cute little noises. Unfortunately, they didn't drop a single thing for me. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I wish they would fix alot of translation problems in the NA/EU versions...but they are too noticeable (at times).

Other than Jaos, I've seen about 6 groups of Rappys and 1 Group of Christmas Rappys.

Heh, I was fortunate enough to see them once in VoC as well.

I met my first 2 rappies in Mad Beasts once. I think they are cuter than PSO's version. ;]

Heh. I understand. I've had the game since release (and played the beta, but that time doesn't count), and I've seen a rare monster sighting once and only once. It was back during the Christmas update, though. I got 1 feather and a tree from it. Not bad.

About a week or so ago, I got my very very first Rare Boss Drop for Omnagohg (or whatever it spelled), in Neudiaz. Actually, it was and is my only Rare Boss Drop.

I have seen rappies out the wazoo both regular and Christmas, but them bloody Jaggos....

I think the same about regular Rappies. For some reason or rhyme, whatever numbers required for me to see them never ever happen, in my case. For now, they are a work of fiction other people see.

I've seen rappies in LL and on Neudaiz, but never on Parum...still have yet to see Jaggo's! Even when I THINK I have a "Jaggo spawn run" (from my recollection of the rare run matrix on PSUpedia) they don't appear.....they hate me!

BTW, what rare did you pull from Onma?? We pulled a Har-Senba board last night, but that's about it....well, we also pulled about 3 Tengohg bow boards during the run.

It's a Onmagohg monster part, according to its icon and description. I believe it's like the De Ragan tail, but for that boss.

I've seen plenty of rappies, but I haven't encountered anything else. I'd really like to see one that isn't in a screenshot.

Seen Rappies about 5 times, Rappy Noels once. Haven't seen any of the other rare mobs yet.

I started PSU to late to see the Christmas stuff. Bought the game December 26th, shops were closed on the 25th.

My first rare enemy sighting was one of the BUGGES on Parum. Didn't even realize they were rare, or I would have got a screenshot.

I was with a party of 6 in SLeeping Warriors S because I never did that mission and was curious about the mission points and drops on S. We came across 4 rappy Noels on the third block, then I entered the 4th by myself and kept asking my crew who were recharging: "Why is the Svaltus red?" Apparently we fought a total of 3 Orgdues and I got the hard / power charge. never knew about the bosses being rare. i actually like em since they rarely used that annoying tornado spin attack. Outside of that, I've only fought jaos once by accident in the lab Rescue S.

I hadn't seen anything up until a few days ago, where my party members had lv3 luck, and we were doing LL S, and Mad C. S, and Mizuraki D. S, where we saw Rappies in each area on the same day! 3 sightings in one day! WoOT! I only got one feather from the lot tho...

Today I was soloing in Parum and forgot to place the the lock on the mission and I gone to an area and someone els came in and went to another and rappies showed up in his area and he took the feathers!.
