Hm, I thought he had two forms? I know there's two really dramatic final boss battle musics with choirs in them. Is the second form available only in story mode or did they just not show that one? ;o

There's two forms. I think the second form IS out online and they didn't show it. I've fought him in extra mode though, both forms.
Fakis DOES use the comet thing in story mode, but if you've got a +10 Nightwalker with maxed out Tornado Dance you can kill him in like 15 seconds so it doesn't really matter. XD
EDIT:What's funny is the ranger video only shows the second form(Where he's flying around and smacking you with his tail). The first form has him attached to the HIVE itself and he just sits there swiping at you with gigantic claws trying to push you down a slope so you can't get to his face and attack him.

If I remember correctly, the form you are calling the first form is actually the second one, and the flying one is the first one. From what I remember, you fight the flying form then he falls down and attaches and you fight the second form where you are on the slope.

As other people have said...you don't play The HIVE for S rank, you play it for the massive exp and uber drops.

Not saying you can't do it for S rank or anything...it's just that there's better missions for that kinda thing.

I don't see how there's any spoilers considering I did HIVE and killed the final boss two days after the game was released in the states.

I already knew that =P. Just wanted to know the S rank to see the difference in Onma S runs vs the exp at the Hives.
