I have come to accept the prices for some synth mats, for del weapons, and for ray photons, but after breaking my Ryo-Pistatorec, yesterday, i went shopping for a new one. I mean, I bought mine for the underpriced value of 20k, and i saw 30k arb hadcs for sale too. Anyways, went shopping and say only one ryo pistatorec not ground, for 500k. Wtf. Then, there wasnt a single arb hadoc under 400k. AGH!I didn't think these were in high demand...

its probably because 1 person was being stupid and putting it in for about 500k, so sumone searched to see everyones price, saw his/hers, but his in for 450k.

next person, 430k

next next, 410k

its not high demand as much as ppl dont knoe wat there doing

Are you talking about Guns? Just a little info there that in most cases, Guns are grossly overpriced. You'll find some good deals, but you really really have to go looking for them. It's something I've begun to notice over the last week or so, in comparison to the average Melee and Wands.

Is it possible that gun crafters are in the minority? Nonetheless, I'm waiting for the market to saturate with more synthed guns so that the pressure is really placed to make them competitive.

I tend to sell my guns cheap because I want the quick sales, but like some others out there, they tend to go quick leaving just the overpriced stuff.
There isn't enough of them selling cheap.

If you make twin Hadcs or pistatorecs, tell me.

Sadly enough, I'm not making much in guns, and I'm also on 360. However, when I do make any, that's just the way I price em.

Meh, I made my Handguc with a 39% chance and the thing is already stronger than most other guns at +4. Low chance of success, higher capacity thanks to grinding, and a fancy black look means high selling price! Waste your own Kubara Wood if you want (three tries, once success, 21 Kubara Wood), or pay the price.

Not going to happen. Someone's going to use ill-gotten meseta to snap up any underpriced weapon and mark them up to the highest price and wait for people to get desperate. Material costs are forcing all the gunsmiths who offer decent prices to go along with it.

Regular 6*'s aren't so bad and for the price of an Alteric these days you can buy enough at NPC prices that you're almost guaranteed to get a +10 on one of 'em.

im not paying over 90k for a 6* kubara, when A ranks look better anyway

You see overpriced items a lot in shops because they don't sell http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Then I expect eventually for Rangers to simply have enough of it and not buy the things. They'll probably end up simply synthing it themselves because it's less effort to grind (while gaining useful levels in stuff) and make it themselves. They'll probably get their stuff in only a fraction of the grind time, once they know where to get the materials. Heck, I ended up refusing to buy them because too many sell above NPC cost. It's getting cheaper and cheaper to do it yourself than buy from anybody. That market just has to crash hard, by common sense catching up with it.

I understand there are some rare guns out there, but it doesn't make any sense to do that stuff with commonly NPC-sold ones. People are seriously misjudging some of the B ranks, for instance.

I totally agree Akaimizu.

For the price of ONE of these overpriced guns you can raise a pure range PM and start rolling your own. All you need is kubara wood, which is why the prices are being inflated so heavily on that stuff too.

I'm really mad I sold all my Kubara to a friend two weeks ago for an honest rate instead of charging ten times that on the open market. I'd be a multi-millionaire.

Fortunately, from where I come from, Kubara Wood drops way too often to care. It's got to be the most un-rare rare in existence. So I'm not exactly sweating the details of getting it.

That'd just be feeding the inflation. You should be glad you sold it for an honest price to someone you know is going to use it, instead of some cheapskate who'll just resell it for 10K or something.

It took me 6 tries to get a Shigga Damduc to +10 (3 luck day and +9 grinders, woo!), but I know I sure as hell didn't spend over 500K in materials to pump out those Damducs at a 40% success rate.

I hope you're right too, Akaimizu. The market needs to take a serious dive if we want to keep the economy running.

My pm's range sucks.

Synthing guns, at least for me, isn't very profitable. Without the chance for elemental percentages, charging a lot isn't much of an option. Kubara guns probably wont sell unless they're grinded and who is going to take that risk with low success rate, A rank weapons...

Also I rarely succeed at synthing even with my pure Range PM. Out of my last 12 synth attempts, 3 succeeded. Three of the attempts were Kubara guns with only one success. The other nine were Raygun and Burst attempts with only two Rayguns succeeding. I've only lost money this time around. Overcharging a Kubara gun that probably wont sale is the only chance for me to just break even.

Kubara wood prices are inflated, and therefore kubara weapon prices will follow suit. Most kubara weapons are for looks anyways, or maybe stats if you are willing to +10 them (gotta be rich). It's not something you really need (kubara weapons) just like crea weapons, so don't let it bother you too much.

I sell them for 1-2 mil apiece...

But then I grind them to +6 or +7.

Someone's gotta pay for my nailbiting when I'm going "OMG WORK PLXOR!"

Well, I sell Kubara-brand Shotguns and Rifles for that. I go 400-500-600k on the handguns when I grind them.

But you just gave me an idea to make and craft a bunchload tonight and sell em for 100k apiece, ungrinded. That's a fair price, considering I'd go under some with Kubara wood.

You know, if they would just change that scary rising meter that occurs during grinding maybe I would be able to bare it. Just seeing that thing shake violently near the end is too much. Even when there is no chance of failure I'm freaked out.
