Anyone Else Love Episode 2?

So, after just getting through the newest online story mission, I was just... well, really happy with it.

I'll start with, I liked the offline story mode story. But I just like where Episode 2 is heading.

Now just doing the HIVE (It's been awhile since I did it offline), damn teaser of actually RELEASING the HIVE! It's like, it has a Ruins feel to it, with the level of fear that the Seabed put into you, with even better music. I LOVE it.

Despite the fact that the enemies were level 5, the sorcerors things constant foie/gibarta barrage had me in trouble at points, and the flying things Megid kept me on my toes for a OHKO (It never happened, but there was a possibility). On the first trial I got SRank, but the part with the switches, took me 22 minutes. (Mostly the 2 switches to get to 1 switch confused me, but yeah) Not only am I liking the darker feel of the story, but the missions are actually fun to play through http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

My only complaint is Laia. I HATE her. Not only is she probably the worst designed NPC character, I just hate her personality. She picks a fight WHENEVER she gets the damn chance. I wish she weren't in them at all, she doesn't add anything to the stories anyways.

Level 5! D: when I did the run I was hoping for a nice quick low level run, but to my dismay when I seen the enemies were level 19! I couldn't even fucking finish it. At the end of Block 2, where Laia says "Don't Panic!Keep Moving!" there was some invisible wall preventing me from going on. Wtf, yo.

No. That was seriously the least fun Ive ever had going through any area in any game ever. Mebbe it was just because Im a ranger, but at lvl 60/4 fortegunner, the first part took me 45 min. to complete, and Dulk Fakis took me at least that long alone. The enemies had an ungodly amount of HP and the Chaos Sorceror wannabe's made me wanna kick infants in the pelvis.

Yes, I think I'll be leaving online story missions for that day in the distant future where we're allowed to choose the difficulties.

suprisingly though, I managed to pull off an S rank on act 1.

Ep2 would be a lot easier if.. you know, the NPCs attacked. >_>

The very first time I met Laia, I was disgusted by her attitude. Just like you said, she always seems to be picking a fight. However, I've actually grown to like her a little more as her character is being fleshed out. It seems her tough-girl side is mainly for show. Remember in Ch.3 when you find Leo barely alive in the HIVE? She drops that attitude for a bit and actually shows that she cares. A lot. Also, when she's talking to Hyuga after he takes Leo back to the ship, Laia mentions how much faith she seems to have in your character. "You're not needed, Hyuga; we've got real talent here," I believe she said. Yeah, she's bitchy, but she seems to be turning into more than a two-dimensional character. Hopefully SonicTeam will keep this kind of development going.

On a side note, one of these days I'll be able to get around to working more on my Ep.2 story guide. This is the kind of info I'm including in it, but of course I'll try to be a bit more detailed.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to say how much I love where the storyline of Ep.2 is going. Very interesting twists especially with something that Hyuga reveals toward the end of Ch.3. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif
