well at first it'll be slow but once people start getting to know your shop and you start selling more expencive stuff you'll have things flying off the shelf eventually.

Go to the item database and look for the item you want to sell. For common things, such as dropped weapons or buyable synthesis items, sell it for half the price the NPC would sell it (Most of the time, that's ten times the NPC would buy it for). For rare synth items that are buyable, I tend to sell them for 500 meseta less than NPC price. For non-NPCable synth items, I look through other stores and see if I can find some reasonable (or unreasonable) prices to sell them for. Also, depending on your morals, you can sell elemental photons for a large amount of meseta. Ray-photons can sell for as much as 10k or more meseta, while others can sell for 5k if you're lucky. Normal photons normally don't sell for even pitiful prices, and ranged or casting photons sell at NPCs, so you'll have to lower the price on them to something decent.

Within a few hours, you should have a decent cash flow, much more than you would than just collecting meseta and NPCing items you find.

i think all of you should clarify platforms because ray-photon for 10k on 360? doubt it

You probably are overcharging, hence no sales.

on the 360, for rare mats, charge only 1500 each for most rare mats and 500 for kubara wood.
that shit will fly so fast it isn't even funny.

I use the standard of pricing an item by the price of the item one star's price below it. That works for me.

eg.
1*=350
2*=800
3*=2000
4*=8600

so I sell 4*s at 2000, 3*s at 800 etc

I've had a hard time as well. Don't get me wrong, I've made plenty of money, I guess, but there are MANY items that are just not selling, though I notice most people sell for higher than I do. More than making Meseta, I was trying to promote good karma and influence others to lower their prices by having mine so low, but it really just hasn't worked (hah, go figure). My healing/status items, and food sell REALLY well (Mono $10, Di $25, Tri $60-70, Moon $90, Moon X $180, Sol $65, Fruit/Mix Juice $300, Groovy Juice $475, Dogma's $799), but other things that I have for "cheap" just don't move; i.e. 4* weaps for $1300-1400, 5* weaps for $3100 (some sold), [B] 4* Armors $400, and Kubara Wood's for $300 (NFS anymore, plan to use XD). I thought it was really strange, as I see people selling stuff for well over 2x my price, and I have to assume it sells, since sooner or later such things are no longer in their shop.

BTW I'm on 360, not PC/PS2, and I dont follow their economy other than understanding it's FUBAR.

Yea i have similar issues too, i just redid my pricing based on one of the charts on here and a bit of tweaking. Most of my rare mats are only 700 now, Par Ebon sells around at other peoples shop at 7 and 8k which is retarted since you can buy it for 4k, gosh what a confusing place.
