If you're doing Bruce's with only one FO, then yeah, you'll get owned even if Buffs and DeBuffs are up.

But Rem, now you're acting like an elitist by thinking you know everything.

Once the Buffs and DeBuffs are up, Techers have a two options. Nuke or Heal. Now, if a BDV is out (or two), and say you have 3 other people who AREN'T Techers, wouldn't that benefit? Here, the Techers would have healing duty (if they know what they're doing, then kudos for them!), and if the HU/RA have mates, even better. It works. Try it.

Ye gods. I was almost disappointed in how easy that quest was on GC when Mome decided to play dead when I brought him to De Rol Le. I mean, it's a good thing there was at least one Star Atomizer in that quest every time, or I would have cried. I think that quest is the sole reason I started using Charge Vulcans in the first place: just so I could kill Del Rol Le fast enough so that Mome would eat up all of my Star Atomizers.

On A-rank you're not going to beat it easily without that extra damage from Bruce. No offence, but after learning how to run the place, bruce becomes more of an asset than a liability.

Now, admittedly, S-rank BDVs are probably not as powerful as the A-rank King BDVs, but my FORTETECHER was SURVIVING spins of death in s-rank - taking only about 300 damage total on top of that, too.

And she's only FT 1, too.

Sad to say, though, Bruce is best kept AWAY from the BDVs, at least in the last room.... because he doesn't know about the earth armor either.

Mome was awesome in the GC version. He thoughtfully committed suicide for you when you fought that worm with dreadlocks.

He was pretty awful in the DC version though, I must admit. Especially in Very Hard and Ultimate. =[

I think Bruce isn't that bad actually. A level 32 actually helped me ;]

Plus he regularly outdamages most other players.

Although he doesnt think too far ahead, as evidenced by him charging into the room of 3 buffed Bils yelling, "Is that all ya got?". His fate at that point, was engrained in a headstone.

SPEAKING OF HEADSTONES. Why arent there the grave markers in BD like there were in C-Mode on PSO? Those were badass.

Because doesn't the mission end if you die? And rather than getting returned to an instance (pioneer 2) you get sent back to the main lobby. Where probably a few people in the party will go "omg nub" and leave/ kick.

Mome never died with me. Granted I'm a fiend whne I played that misson but still I beat that in ultimate mode with Mome alive. He did suck though but hey rarez made my day.
