How much to recharge!?

I'm sure all the Force/Techers character players out there can argee with me here:

Recharging your Wands and Rods eats up all your meseta!

So I came up with a little way to save a bit o' meseta, and I'm sure some of you have thought of this and done it your selves...

When ever I'm gonna take a break, I just go into a mission by myself, lock it, and let my weapons recharge without me forking out my wallet the reward I just got for S ranking a B rank colony at lv16! (3 rods, 2 wands, I had to do the damage, as my team were all lv5-10).

...and in the time I've been posting around here, I have jsut recharged said weapons! Yay! Saved ~500 meseta!

It's only bad when you're on your first character and are still doing C and maybe B missions for xp. From A and beyond, the mission rewards will easily pay for your recharging.

I believe my worst was 2672, which was with five drained Mayrods, a drained Lidra, and a drained Hanmateric.

Although now that I have Howrods, I think I'll probably end up breaking a 3k recharge bill at some point.

No... I really don't see much of a problem with recharging costs for my Wartecher. It's usually less than 500 unless I go nuts and waste a bunch of PP.

And when the mission pays about 3800, paying 500 really isn't that big of a deal. Especially after you factor in meseta pickups.

recharging is cheap for me since i still use B rank rods that have been grinded to +7
for all you ppl out there that are useing A rank weps however i know that it can get pricy
I'm guessing only casters are really noticeing the pinch of this so here is 1 money saveing idea, dont buy Photon Chargers cuz that is a waste of money but dont sell them either, instead keep them till your empty and you'll fast notice that it is a lot more cost effective to use chargers on empty rods rather than sell them

the best way to keep the costs down is still to keep the Stars of the wep as low as possable and gring them, i know that is hard to do right now since you cant yet grind A rank weps and 6* B ranks can only go so high without too much risk but even with 9* weps out there i still find my 6* with +7 grind to be more than enough and i have been useing them since b4 the 7 advanced classes came out

With all the new PAs and PA spamming on monsters, I typically burn about 2k by block 2, and then another 500-1k for block 3. More or less depending on how effective the rest of the party is at killing everything.

Fortetechers are lucky that they can just use photon charges for practically the same price as normal recharges. Not so when my recharge cost is spread over 13+ weapons =p

I have spent about 3k charging, as a fighgunner, PA spamming all my weapons, and considering I have 8* of everything I can use, and 9* of almost everything... yeah. I haven't done any PA spamming with my 9* full sets yet... so we'll see

after more playing about with classes and weapons i now know who has it worse for recharge costs and i'm happy in 1 way since i'm a fortetecher cuz for once we dont get the worst deal

Ranger types have the worst deal of the 3 types since they cant attack without useing PP and their damage per PP is not that great, and no i'm not saying they dont do good damage but they cant match 2,000+ damage for 8 PP

Force types come in second again cuz they cant attack without useing PP but if the right spell is used at the right time they hit hard

then there is Hunter types who could if they really wanted to never use any PP at all and still do ok depending on what they are doing, i'm not saying it is good to do that but if you just doing a few C or B runs for some MP or to make some money you can do it for free

i'm still playing my char on the cheap side as i cant land any rods that beat my current 6* rods with 7 grinds and since there is only 1 or possably 2 rods in game that can beat them right now i'm happy as is

I'm preparing for the worst when the Killer Shot comes out. PP drains so badly, I can imagine going through 10+ rifles per run (probably an understatement too). I'm just making riflics. So far 16/20 success which has me stumped as how lucky or easy it is make em lol. But man, making them +10.... >.>

I play an S rank mission for an S rank mission reward, 165-350m, depending on what mission.

But most of the time I only farm rare spawns and so I only attack the necessary gate mobs.

Don't know about offline, but offline on my Newman I have 4 kazarods(sp?) and after I get done with a mission it is 1.5k to recharge all my weapons... (also have 1 cometara and 3 bows not on pallette until done with wands and rods)

QFT. I've been carrying one Howrod for each element plus a couple extra for heals/buffs. Instead of switching out rods, or adjusting techs on the fly, its way easier (and no more expensive) to gulp a Photon Charge.

As for my Fortefighter, Photon Charges mean that I don't have to switch weapons quite as often. I spam PAs (like Hunters should be doing for maximum damage) and have to carry around 15+ weapons and a stack of charges to not run out of pp, depending on the situation.

Stick with trying to max a 3* or a normal 6*. The riflics would be just for show or if you have a lot of haxeta to blow through. Personally I've got 15 +6-10 3* rifles and 6 +6-8 Falgohohs (6* yohmei). That's a PP bank of a little over 1500 on the falgohohs. They're not as "sexy" as a kubara gun but hey, when I pick up deals like finding them for 5-7k a piece, they're MUCH better looking!

When solo'n in B or A rooms to level up my bullets to 21, I spend about 2500 a run. And that's WITH a lot of C grade guns.

On a really long version of Dual Sentinal (S) I find myself spending 7,000 meseta at the PP cube (if I don't use my Shotguns). Rangers definately have it the worst, especially when trying to level PP eaters like Grenade Launchers and Laser Cannons. When Ultimate PA's come out, I see this bill jumping to 20,000 meseta per run. (150PP per shot on Grenades, 50-100 for Rifles? gawd).
