wat armor should a lvl 58 fortegunner get

I submit that you get Phantom Line (7*, 70 requirement). Goes good with the 9* rifle, Phantom, and has arm slot and extra slot. Mine is light element.

Depends if u want the phantom rifle go for the Rifle+armor combo like subbie said second best is sori-senba since it has all slots.

Don't get sori-senba, its a worthless armor

Ice element + Fire enemes (which exist in nearly every area) = MORE damage taken that with nearly any other armor.

If you're going to be doing bruces dungeon a lot I'd go with a gigaline or rabol tero. Not sure why you're focused on getting a 7* armor, element is by far the most important part of reducing damage taken

No slots at all = No Suv

HB = No Suv

sori-senba 11% ice 8*
AHBE= Good Slot armor, H is not needed but can put mst in there I guess.

rebol hard 0% 7*
AB = No Suv

rebol solid 18% gound 8*
HAB = No Suv

I'd go with phantomline if going to use 2+ phantom rifles.. the atp bonus is like +15% from what I hear.
Phantomline is AE too.

I disagree with Ether, I think sori-senba is a decent beast WT armor. I want the H and A slot to give much needed Tp and ata/atp and for every party I've been in I always take the least amount of damage.

The set bonus for phantom rifle + phantomline is +25% weapon base atp and ata and +25% armor base dfp. So depending upon elemental advantage and bullet lvls you'll see 30-60 more damage per hit w/ the set bonus. Might not sound much to all you hunter types but this is a good bump for ranger types. But with only 170k i'm not sure you can afford phantomline on pc/ps2.

The only disadvantage to the Phantom Set is lack of Body Slot for Mega/Rainbow which I guess could be made up just by carrying extra armor with one, other than that it seems to be best choice for fGs (maybe even GTs) so far.

i have a question about sori-senba. If you were to equipe Mega/Rainbow to it and fight a fire monster (assuming you have the store-bought one) would it only do a 3% damage increase instead of 11%?
