Partner Machinery (PM) Question for a Force

Hey all! Just wondering, I'm about to start raising my PM and wanted to know what you think would be the best use of her for a Fortetecher like myself. I know I could always make her into a 450 so I could synth my own wands and also make meseta, but I figured I could make that on an alternate character, because I honestly don't need someone to help heal and nuke while soloing.

So my question is, for soloing, which of the other four PMs is the best for say, having her run off and getting the mobs attention while I spam TECHs and heal as necessary during my solo grinds?

Advice from those who have these other PMs is greatly appreciated!

The 420 would probably be your best bet. They tend to attack more aggresively, while the 410 tends to stay near your character.

Be careful though! If the 420 gets TOO far away, it may get into trouble and be too far away to heal. My 410 usually stays within restas range.

Hmm.... I see. How about a 430? I have a friend who has one and she seems to stick near him and pick off enemies with her gun - when she actually does something.

My 430 never does anything until I'm right next to an enemy, which pretty negates the purpose of her using guns.

yeah, the 430 only targets what YOU'VE targeted - which sounds all right, except that you want a PM that'll do things on its own.

Otherwise you might as well just use Hyuga and Maya. <_<

The 420 and 410 are your best bets. The 410 is more bodyguard-style, where if an enemy approaches within a certain distance it'll charge forward; the 420 will just charge when an enemy mob appears... for better or worse. Usually for better; but sometimes it'll get banged up pretty badly.

Yeah, I like the bodyguard idea, but at the same time I like it if the 420 catches the mob's attention - of course, having to babysit her small frail body is kinda scary. 430 comes in handy. freezes enemies pretty often. also stays close for resta.... and CUTE AS A BUTTON!
