The max a weapon can be "grinded" is to +10. A weapon has a chance of breaking before getting to +10, but I don't know what happens if you attempt to grind a +10 weapon already. Maybe an error message, maybe the shop-assistant slaps you, I have no idea.

Always ignore sarcastic people with that many "x"s in their name.

The error message is something along the lines of "You cannot grind that item any farther."

Yes, +10 is the highest it'll go.

I might be wrong, but it sounds like you used a C+6 on your weapon. The +6 just means a better chance of success.

For the first grind or two you are better off using up the more common grinders on a day where you have +3 luck. Using a c+1 or c+2 is pretty much guaranteed to work if you have +3 luck. Beyond that, it's your call but past the 5th or 6th grind you probably want to be using c+9 or c+10 and hope your weapon doesn't break.

Yea, He's right. You can apply 10 grinds to (most) weapons, with each successive grind becoming more and more difficult to apply without failure....Thus as you continue, you'll need progressively higher quality grinders. Daily luck affects your success rates...so always try to grind on a Lvl 3 luck day to have the best shot. If you have a weapon you're really fond of, id do three things. 1) Make a duplicate in case you break it. 2) Always grind on a Lvl 3 luck day. 3) Use the highest grinder possible to minimize your chances of failure...i.e. +9, +10. Welcome to the land of frustration and disbelief that is "Weapon Grinding"

Or you could play on the PS2/PC servers where everyone has 9* weapons that we can't grind. No chance of breaking there. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif
