Laptop screenshots

Okay so I messed around with my laptop trying to take some screen shots I just relized something:
You need to hold down the function key before you can hit insert [prt sc]. When I did it I finally had a screenshot... a bad one but hey it works now...

it really depends on your laptop brand. My Dell does not require that.

Ha, you think you've got problems? I still haven't figured out how to screencap on my MacBook.

On my mac, all i need to do is press the shift, apple key and 3 to take a picture of my screen. Hit shift, apple key and 4 to take pics of parts of the screen you want.
I haven't tried to do this in a game though. Hopefully it works.
