Quick questions about cards.

1. What type of weapon are they considered? Trying to find out which PM I should have try to synth one and I don't want to waste cash cramming boards into every pm I have just to see which has a better %.

2. Is a kikamic worth the trouble, or should I just buy a normal card elsewhere and not put up with the hassle of trying to scavenge kubara wood for a synth?

2. Depends on your race and class. The primary reason to use Kikamic would be to account for low base ATA.

Magitek_X is right. If you're gonna try to get one, I prefer your synth it yourself, not buy it from someone's shop.

Be careful for deciding on a Kikamic. It has less ATP and less PP than the Kikami. The ATA difference is sizable, actually - about 90 - and thusly you're choosing between accuracy and power.

It depends on his race and class, Remedy. What you consider a "scant" ATA advantage on a Newman would be a godsend on a Beast.
