maybe the weapons will max out at S rank unless there are classes more advanced than the current ones. that said, I'm sure that it would be awesome to have 15* weapons and such. If there are up to 15* weaps, that would be so awesome.

Kind've deflating news, actually. The Psycho Wand is only a 12* Rod, and that weapon deserves nothing less than being the best fucking rod in the game. Having something that could trump the Psycho is blasphemy against the Phantasy Star series as a whole.

Or this could all be crap? Look at the row of stars on your gear, looks to me like it won't go past 12 or 13. Putting a whole second row in there for one or two stars would be kinda dumb. I don't know, on my interface I could easily see 18 stars in total, without even starting another row or spilling over out of the item's frame.

Yeah, the job classes getting moved up to 20 would probably open SS ranks to people.

And like Dymalos said, go look at your inventory. 10* isnt even 3/4 of the way across the window. Not to mention, what could the higher SS ranks (min levels of 80+) Possibly drop that would be worth our time? 13*+ items. People are finding 10-12 all over the place, so why do harder missions for stuff you can farm on LLS?

After keeping tabs on the activities of various item modders, it seems that weapons only go up to 12 stars for this version of Phantasy Star Universe. However, there are synthing item that go above that rarity. In short, there doesn't seem to be any data for SS-Rank weapons. We'll have to wait for the expansion to get them.

Considering many jobs only allow a few S ranks...

It wouldn't make sense for them to continue making S rank weapons go higher and higher like in PSO since it'd severely limit the types of weapons we'd be able to use and still deal damage effectively.

I'm all for super high rank weapons, but if they're all going to be S rank, then many jobs are going to be left out in the cold (Protranser/hybrids).

The Psycho Wand board is supposed to drop from lv 100 monsters of particular areas. The only other item like that is the an Agito Replica which drops in another area. Considering it's on the same level as a replica could really mean that it's a replica as well. Of course, all of the crea replicas drop this way as well.

It's a big deal because it has made an appearance in each of the 3 Phantasy Star Series of games. It's part of the Phantasy Star mythos.

I would expect they might raise the job level cap, and at job level 11 the usability for all weapons increases one rank.
