Because its supposidly hard, but once you learn the area layout n where to go its pretty easy, to where alot (on JP servers) just duo it and get very fast times O_o

Most pics I seen of duo is a fortetecher leader, and fortefighter using pretty much only dual dagger aoe PA all over everything

Well considering the way most people play the FiGunner class (I.E. screw guns, double saber ftw.), having two of those makes it rather unimpressive in my opinion. If you had a party consisting of only ranger and force types and a protranser or even possibly a wartecher thrown in for good merit, that would be impressive.

Nobody said it was impossible, its just not the way its done on the JP server since they don't have infinite meseta for traps and uber eq. XD Its much easier for them to do it as cheaply and safely as possible.

And I did say many times that I was wondering how the US server would handle it since the two servers were so dramatically different in layout and equipment (with everyone on the US server having the obviously superior eq XD).

Basically with the economy like PC/PS2 has you also have to consider:

1. Gear

This is the biggest one. Performance will vary between parties since gear will be different. Obviously someone with full A rank gear equips with an additional 5 twin 9* sabers in their inventory for King Bil da Vears is going to be better off than someone with 5* weaponry. Don't even get me started with armor.

2. Items.

This is probably the same, but more people can abuse. How many photon charges and traps are going to be used? Invest in one great weapon, and use and abuse photon charges left and right.

3. Level

Not as great of an impact as the first two.

i've got a better time S ranking bruce A with people who don't even own a shop, But why post a screen shot when you can bring your "SJS" with you into battle?

Unless their are terms and conditions that start everyone out fairly, Bruce's Dungeoun is nothing more than another way to show off.

I consider Figunner to be muscle, which counts as the same as a decent Fortefighter in the end, so I agree with you. Cept Protransfers own in Bruce A.

Figunners would be preferred to fortefighters since you can at least do some trapping imho. That is, if you don't have a protranser present.

Although PC/PS2 has a ton of meseta, we still have our share of all types of players who may or may not know how to run Bruce's. I wonder if the JP and 360 servers have the majority of their hunters using elemental B weapons rather than green A weapons. You'd be amazed how many people on PC/PS2 just use a store bought sori-senba rather than trying to synth a decent earth ageha-senba or megaline which would provide noticibly more protection. Of course, ridiculously expensive earth photons is a part of this, but also lol i have so much money and I want 4 slots so sori-senba is the obvious choice for bruce's. On 360/JP you don't really have a choice, and photons are cheap, so I would think you'd synth lower grade elemental armor which would ACTUALLY protect you better than people throwing their money on NPC sori-senbas when running bruce's! You could say the overabundance of money on PC/PS2 has left many players lazy and with the option to make the wrong choices in terms of gear and equipment.

To sum things up, there are the few that know how to play the game well, and there are the many who don't. For those that understand the value of good elemental % they will be busting out faster runs than 360. For everyone else, they might spam traps, but they sure won't be wearing earth armor.

While thats true your equip selection should reflect how you run it. I for one, never fight the buffed bears up close (i skip the south room and go on healing duty when they come out in the final room), and the unbuffed ones barely scratch me since I'm a Wartecher. So I wear fire armor and evade 75% of the flamethrowers, taking 3-15 dmg from the hits that make it through. Getting burned still stucks, but all and all I think it's better than wearing earth armor when I don't fight the bears.

As for the Grove S thing with all Hunters classes in 30 min or less. Haven't bothered with S rank. But if it's mostly the same as A rank just with higher level monsters then it will be easy when utilizing lightning element abuse. I wouldn't mind trying this other Fortegunners. Preferrly ones with lv.21+ Xbow of Freeze and Infect, lv.21+ Twins, Shotgun, or Xbow of Plasma, and high burn level Rifle for those enemy FOs.

On JP servers, I figure it's even less of a challenge with a Killer Shot Spam Squad.

I'd take Hakura S with a team of fF's, Force is preferred, not required. Pack lightning weapons, and a Dark Spear/Axe for the boss, and it's tame at best. Incase anyone had forgotten, this is where Dimates, Trimates, Sol Atomizers and Star Atomizers are meant to be used. We don't HAVE to run around screaming 'HEEEEAALL MEEEE'. You're a bad HU if you do that- you gotta rely on your own mates, and your own skills.

We all know Dambarta is broken anyway too, it's the Renkai Buyou-zan of Forces.

I really don't know why everyone is posting about Bruces Dungeon- because it allows you to use your equips, you just walk in with high elemental weapons/bullets/techs, and you're relying on your equips a lot, rather than judgement. I'm not saying you don't rely on judgement, but you're certainly more confident knowing you have a A-Rank armour protecting you, and a pallette stacked with crazy weapons.

I mean, good job on finishing it, but I reckon you could do faster with fF's- my personal opinon is that Fortes' can perform the stunning job much better- we have more HP, DFP, and we get a PP reduction on melee weaponry- allowing us to keep the stun going for longer.
