View Full Version : GH-452 made me wet myself, GH-451 made me fall asleep

Keep in mind, the update from last night stated there were changes made to PM's so this may be for all of them.

Anywho, when I logged on, I knew I had to try one of the PM's so I went in the shop and picked 452 first since I thought the Lightning / Support combo would be neat. I fed her the item (just like you'd feed it other things to level up) and was on my way with a brand spankin new GH-452.

I took her for a test drive in Linear Line, and everything seemed ok. She's not madam spam-alot with Resta like 450, but it was still good for my tastes. And she cared a Rod and two Wands which had a combonation of Zonde, Razonde, Gizonde, and Resta. I was a little disappointed that there was no Zoldeel, but I was ok... until it happened.

We were tackling a group of Deljabans, and suddenly her Rod was gone, she was raising her hand for something and she started talking. I was trying to contemplate why it looked so familiar, but I didn't have enough time to react. GH-452 was using an SUV... and it made me wet myself.

Considering it was a PM using it, I thought the damage wasn't too bad. It was a series of damage ranging from 240 to 260, and was the SUV which launches bombs into the air that explode everywhere, so enemies were left burning and crispy for a few moments. Throughout the duration of the mission, my PM used the SUV three times, and was overall a very good buddy.

Unless someone else posts more info before I get home tonight, I'll be trying out GH-451 later on and posting my findings.

Edit: see below pics for information on GH-451

Well I was anxious, so I went ahead and evolved her into a GH-451 to see what it was all about. I was very... very disappointed, and want a refund. GH-451 uses two wands and a rod (Halarod >.> *so jealous*), although it uses the wands much more. The GH-451 simply goes into combat and starts casting Ice Techs... and that's it. It has auto-hp regen which I thought was interesting, but it does not seem to care much about you.

I let it pretty much solo Linear Line on A Rank for 20 minutes, half of that time I was around 50% hp seeing if it would heal me, and it wouldn't. Just continued using its tiny little Ice Techs.

So, as a personal opinion, I'd go for the GH-452. Its damage is comparible to GH-451 if not a little higher, shock status is always welcome when it lands on enemies, it heals occasionally (although not as frequent as GH-450), and more importantly, it has an SUV.

I was going to go for the 452 anyway since it looks better than the others, but nice to know it's not useless. Sadly enough I never solo so I won't see her much anyway

Jan 18, 2007, 01:48 PM
Well the 451 is an Independent type. What about the other models do you have an option to see them too?

The 451's Ice Techs are 30 right?

Nayte
Jan 18, 2007, 01:51 PM
So its best to stick with the 450 if you want a PM that heals alot? I solo alot so i would rather have a resta spammer

Spellbinder
Jan 18, 2007, 01:55 PM
Yes the GH-451's techs are Lv 30 as are the GH-452's, and unfortunately only those two models are available.

GH-451 just seemed like a downer to me. I'd rather have GH-452 since I can at least get the occasional Resta. GH-451 doesn't really bring anything to the table to me. Just look at it:

GH-450
- Foie
- Rafoie
- Gifoie
- Resta
- Jellen

GH-451
- Barta
- Rabarta
- Gibarta
- hp regen (for itself)

GH-452
- Zonde
- Razonde
- Gizonde
- Resta
- SUV

I have no real interest in trying more of GH-451, but I'm going to keep GH-452 and see how it goes. I think I'd definitely get more bang for my buck from 450 or 452.

Edit: Didn't see your post Nayte. The GH-452 is according to PSUPedia Lightning and Support which seems to be holding true. I only ran Linear Line twice with it so there's still much to be said about its use of Resta. I'll be sure to fill you in a PM or something if you'd like later on after I've used it more.

I posted a lot more pictures in the screenshot thread. Go there to check them out. Overall, I am very pleased with the new evolution. Evolving it does not appear to affect your synth rates which is good.

What I like about this SUV is that NPCs tend to have horrible aim with other blasts. With this SUV, you don't even need to aim. This greatly increases the chances of a useful blast being fired off.

Gee.. and I was looking forward to the 451 too. I thought that she'd be a whole lot better and have lots of things.. But if she only has those 3 barta spells and HP regen. then that's not all that interesting..

There has to be more to her than that. The 452 is definately interesting, but since she's so awesome, lots and lots of people are going to have her. I'm not one to follow suit, if you get my drift.

I don't really need a healer, being a Fortetecher and all. Though.. a PM that doesn't listen to me (Ie: follow me when I retreat) will be a little more bothersome. There's nothing like the dragon spitting fire and I'm all running away and she's still sitting there casting. A PM that's "Independent" will be even more of a problem cause she'll do her own thing.

Hm.. then again if she has HP regen then that means something..She's gotta be all offense.. Now I'm really interested... there's something up her sleeve.. that 451..

I won't lose faith.. anyway thanks for all the info, Spellbinder! I've been tryin to find SOMETHING out on the next evolutions for a LONG time. My only lead until now was "Evolution Device" and that's all.

Don't hesitate to tell more interesting info!

Tell me about it. Where did those little guys come from??? Oh & is someone going to come up with a full guide on how to make all the new PMs & what their abilities are? Offline, my 450 does Megiverse (I think thats the one), & I believe various ice & fire spells. Rarely heals. Maybe it also helps based on WHAT you feed it during raising? Not sure. Need more info.

I don't recall Megiverse, but I know GH-450 has Ramegid offline along with an assortment of other nonhealing Technics, but its totally different from online so its not a good marker for comparison. Also, as far as I can tell, what you feed your PM has no effect on what abilities they gain. Each GH-4XX model has a set of abilities they'll stick to. As for collecting info, I don't know if anyone else will, but I think I've gathered some decent information on the GH-45X series so far.

GH-450
- Foie
- Rafoie
- Gifoie
- Jellen
- Resta

The original TECHNIC PM model. This Partner Machinery is a supporter at heart, and it shows as it follows you in combat. Although not as often as its attacks, GH-450 will on occasion use Jellen to help support in battle, but usually sticks to casting Fire based attacks. Should you or your Partner Machinery be injured however, whether slightly or severely, GH-450 will spring into action and cast Resta, usually three times in succession before resuming attacks.

Currently there seems to be no real trigger for Resta other than perhaps not being at full HP. As its been shown in other threads in the forum, GH-450 heals when everyone is practically at full health and also (obviously) when its master has low health. Also, if you are not at full HP outside of battle, GH-450 may also heal you without being engaged in combat. Overall, if you're looking for a PM to support you and help keep your health high, this is probably your best bet.

GH-451
- Barta
- Rabarta
- Gibarta
- Resta

The next in the GH-45X line, the GH-451. This partner machinery looks sweet, but is a pretty tough cookie in comparison to the other models so far. GH-451 has fairly high physical defense (was taking damage close to my Lv 75 FT with 16% dark armor in Linear Line) and comes equipped with auto-hp regen. Mainly using two wands and occasionally a rod, GH-451 uses an assortment of Ice Technics to help attack enemies.

After monitoring carefully for different Technics, I believe her weapons are equipped in the following manner:

Wand: [Barta / Resta]
Wand: [Rabarta / Gibarta]
Rod: [Barta / Rabarta / Gibarta / Resta]

After seeing it cast technics with one green wand and one blue wand, as well as its green rod, I'm fairly certain these are the Technics available to it. GH-451 casts Resta very rarely, usually as a means of self preservation, and even then it would seem foolish to rely on this. However, if you're looking for a PM to just dish out some Ice damage and occasionally draw attention away from you, this would be a nice Partner Machinery to own.

GH-452
- Zonde
- Razonde
- Gizonde
- Resta
- Shifta
- Zodial
- Rendis
- SUV

For the moment, this is the final new addition to the GH-45X line of Partner Machineries. GH-452 is a little squishy, but is certainly nothing to shake a stick at as it uses an assortment of Lightning Technics to assist in attacking enemies. While not quite as supportive as GH-450, should you not be at full HP GH-452 may cast Resta to heal you. After observing it for several runs, the trigger is hard to tell as it has healed when our HP was both fairly high and fairly low.

GH-452 also has a bundle of other abilities it may use on occasion. Further use of GH-452 shows that it may randomly use Shifta, Zodial, and Rendis to help support the party and keep up the good fight. Also, GH-452 has the ability to use an SUV, which I assume it uses soon or immediately after the bar has been filled. Overall, I would say GH-452 is somewhere in the middle between GH-451 and GH-450. This Partner Machinery seems fairly focused on fighting enemies, however, it will not neglect you when in need of healing, but you have to remember not to be totally reliant on its abilities.

Thanks for the summary Spellbinder.

Though.. I do find it a little odd that the 451 only has 4 technics.. and the 452 has so many more.

Seems a little too odd to me.

I'm now interested in what those other models will be like..As strange as they might look.
