They said that wartechers suck, and that if there was pvp he would "Snipe me down" heh...whatever...

Wartechers are arguably the most versatile class in PSU. He wants to snipe you down? Buff yourself, and lay waste to the poor sod with a bow or cards..

Wartechers are pretty decent, I would have been one if it wasn't for the lack of 30 skills. They have the ability to live through alot of damage, while doing decent damage themselves. Unless he uses silence traps when you get near, I think wartechers would have the upperhand.

WT is great. Very versatile. You have techs, some melee, and bows for range, so you're good to go in any situation. I was playing one for a bit with my newman and saw that I was kicking more ass with my techs than anything else, so I went FT instead for maximum tech damage.

YOu're one of the better ones, they are all flimsy little porcelain dolls (female) or pursed lipped, haughty looking little shits (male).

I genuinely have difficulty NOT producing the latter in char create.

It's just I had so much fun the last month getting wt to (8) and trying to ignore these people constantly being mean to wt. Then I see the melee PAs getting nerfed... Finally I just want someone to comfort me in that guide thread... and it does not come.

The same melees are getting nerfed for other classes, though yeah it does fuck up our soloing somewhat - still got single daggers though, and a heartening thought that if ST will rebalance, they may rebalance furthur what IMO is a big mistake in the future.

Which already happened to rangers. Gimped in an update, de-gimped in a later update.

Im pleased as punch with my warteching cast, I get compliments all the time on how I play. With the right percentage weaponry its not hard at all to hang with a fortefighter and with a damn good bow you can do more damage than some fortegunners. With my Alteric I find myself doing about 380 a hit, in the mid 500's on a critical. With the bows I have the pp availability to deal out a very large chunk of damage. (varies by enemy type obviously)
With the right techs I find myself filling the gaps of the other force in the party; sometimes Im the only force biased class in the party and in that case Im a valuable asset.
