It changes back as soon as you change universes, rooms, etc.

EDIT: So unless you plan on never playing that character again, then she can't stay glitched.

Meh I'm sure they'll fix it eventually, but if it WAS tied to a duping glitch then no need to patch than on the 360 ver. Perhaps they'll let it slide, oh GOD I hope so.

I'll try the board trick later. If that's patched, then I'm almost certain they'll let clothes glitch slide.

Well, hopefully it shows that people want more variety in clothing options, and gives Sega some ideas to put more in.

I would've loved to have the bathing suit and shoes separated instead of just one piece. Not that there's a lot of good shoes to include with it, but the Sneakers from Parum are perfect. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

You clothing glitch haters just want everyone to conform to the same old boring normal forms of outfitwear. A lot of the people will probably go back to just wearing the swimsuit with twice the exposure.

I will likely go back to my old outfit unless I can work some miracle. ;-;

Are you retarded? Quitting over a pissy little glitch like this?

It doesn't effect the economy seriously anyway, if everybody does it, everybody has the same money. If everybody can't do it, everybody has the same money.

The only thing this bothers me for is S ranks, and we don't have many yet anyway.

This is Glitch is still working on Xbox 360.

Question
Jan 19, 2007, 04:19 PM
I’m sorry but a lot of the female clothes make the characters look too old in my opinion. The "Karawai one-piece" made my character look like the Aunt Jemima lady. It felt like I was playing a space pilgrim. Don’t get me wrong I like this game as much as the next player, but I need way more variety.

Now I am sorry that a lot of you people don’t like the idea of me customizing the look of my character the way I see fit. I just don’t believe the look of my character is anyone else’s concern. I really don’t see a problem, as long as I am not hurting the gaming space or any of the players. I did not steal any of the clothes and as far as I can tell I did not have any form of unfair advantage over other players. To assume how my character was dressed gave me a way around the games difficulty settings sounds absurd.

Would you tell someone on you on the street how to dress?

But That's Just My Opinion. I Could Be Wrong.

Question
Jan 19, 2007, 04:28 PM

Neith
Jan 19, 2007, 04:54 PM
The glitch made my characters look better- without it, I don't think they look anywhere near as good. Shame, but eh, if it had to be fixed, nothing I can do about it.

zandra117
Jan 19, 2007, 05:04 PM
It uses a different method on the 360, on the 360 it shows the clothes as unequipped while the clothing textures are still on your character while the pc/ps2 variation made clothing actually multiequip. The 360 friends list variation still works and is harmless while the 360 standby variation was patched because it could allow multiequipped armor units.

mananas
Jan 19, 2007, 05:14 PM
Well WTF... why would they remove this patch?
I just realized... Sega probably wanted to fix this because they didn't want people buying parts of clothing sets, because whole clothing sets cost more and hence taking longer play time to save up to buy meaning more profit for them. Also since the swimsuits cost so little, anyone could buy them practically. This is the only thing I could think of, and it's idiotic. God forbid we're allowed to make do with what Sega gave us.

Whoever said let this fad die, well, it's just as bad as any other fad. As soon as a new set is released everyone's going to have it, I don't see how this is any different.

"Berserker like" character of, let say, the size of Leo with no shirt and Axe or Sword looked cool.

On a side note, about the "good ridance" posts, I guess Gojin was just trying to be fun with his post.

They are quick to fix the clothing glitch when it broke out in the NA version, but not the hacking? They left the important stuff to gameguard when its really their problem? Bah.

Not that Sega has done anything good latly... Hope the Sonic Wii at least salvages something...

And the loss of the glitch has led my new blonde hair for my character go to waste... I changed specifically to look like legally blonde cause it would be funny...

Thank god I screencapped these before the update and fix...

I dont mind the patch. But I wasnt bent out of shape about the clothing glitch either.

It was just annyoing when EVERYONE was doing it. It was like I went to PSU-Hedonism. I went to obscure universes just to get away from the chubby/loli-chicks/guys dance parties and toon-humping-each-other freak fests that were going on for the first few days it got out.

I like skin just like the next guy. I also am not going to be a liar and say seeing a half naked toon isnt appealing, only a moron in denial would say otherwise. But common.. When it was over used, over played, and over exploited it got down right annoying. But hey! Every glitch that gets overexposed (pun intended) is always doomed to get patched, why? Thats the law of the online jungle, if everyone uses it the MODS are GOING to find out *lmfao*. It wasnt meant to be there in the first place, too many faddish nooblars used it, now its fixed. Nuff said.

Besides when speedos and bikinis come out you will have a new level of nekkidness to run around in. So keep your shorts (or lack there of) on.

when that day comes .. i will be back in seclusion for a few weeks ... its gonna be pandemonium.

Sucks that there's now FEWER aesthetic options as a result of a glitch fix. Sure it was overused, but some people did use the glitch to make their characters actually look good. And now those people have to suffer for the glitch. Really, the swimwear should have been made into separate sets to begin with, so there wouldn't have been a glitch to exploit in the first place.

VF is the only thing with sense. ST should be disowned. They have good concept but they are lame.
