When I get on Multimode on PSO, I was wondering if it were possible to find rare items. I have been playing multimode for a while, and haven't come to many rare items. I was wondering if it was that I haven't played in a high enough difficulty, for I have only been to V.Hard, or if it was that offline in multimode, you can't find rare items. I know what items you will find by the Section ID of the party leader, but I was wondering about that. I have been through with my friend a great many of times, and found nothing...

Netro, you can find rares in Multiplayer, in ALL difficulty modes.
In fact, it is better to play Mutliplayer, because the chance of finding rares is greater.
But yes, there are times when you cannot find rares, and that can be a bit troublesome.

You will find more rares on higher difficulties than that of low ones. on the other hand, ones in higher difficulty are also rarer than the ones in low.
You are just having bad luck is all. Just keep playing around and soon they will drop like a bunch.

I'm playing multi offline with my wife rightn ow, i've hit a nice little drought as well. Yes you can find rares in multi though, hard and after (you can find them in normal but it's really rare, ableit a photon drop or something)
just keep truckin through and you'll get something, unless maybe you're hacking or a friend is. (I had a friend that hacked his offlines and i never found jack when i was running with him, which sucked because i'm complete legit and he was one of theo nly friends at the time that played PSO that i had around here, for offline)

I find rares sometimes when I play multiplayer with my brother. But I hardly play multiplayer now 'cause he keeps nicking all the rares that appear. 'No, that's mine. My fire spell killed it' is the excuse he mostly uses, and it (insert profanity here) me off!

I can't believe you guys thinking you can't play multimode offline by yourself. Is it a sin or something?

No sin, just nerving to control two characters by your own.
And to face more enemies, quests are still better.
So for what should someone control two character and face enemy with stronger stats, if he can have more enemies with normal stats at quests?

Playing Multimode Offline by yourself is more of a challenge. Although, you can only play it on half a screen http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif . It also gives you an oppurtunity to try out someone else's drop rates, i.e. you have a level 150 Character and a level 81 Character who you don't want to put onto Ultimate. You can get some of their drops without even having to use them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Not entirely; there are more monsters, so there are more chances of finding a rare.
I'm sure you knew that anyway http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

He used a glitch/bug which isn't allow to explain here.
And yes it does.
The only item that is legit to stack to 99 is Photon Drop.
Drop the Trimates, save your game, restart your console and scold your mate, for killing your chances for Rares (without warning)

..yeah, that will kill rares...
I know from experience.

It figures that that cheat kills your rares. My friend uses that cheat because he is really impatient. He can't stand having to go back to the Pioneer 2 every 10 minutes, and I can understand that, but I didn't know that it would ruin your chances of getting rare objects. Saying that, if you use that in Multimode, your chances are killed then, too, right?

They have pretty much explained it, erm the only thing I can add is really is luck and the highest level of the character. Sometimes it seemed like if you used a Higher Level Character to help level a lower level, you tend to get more rares or uncommons out of the travel if the higher level character is the leader.
One Day me and my friend found two Agito's, a Yamato, and 3 Blade dances out of one run. It was quite a glorious day.

If you mean the status luck, then no Luck has nothing to do with drops as well as the character level.
There is absolute nothing you can do to get better drop chances.

You mostly get better rares, as the difficulty level sprogesses.

You should also know that certain items, unless you have PSO EpI&II Plus, cannot be found offline at all. Enraging.

Nope, wasn't talking about the Status of LCK. Its just luck.
We play the same characters almost every time, and it seems like if he plays with his higher level characters when "WE" play we seem to find one or two more then we usually do.
The percentage rate is set it seems, but our own personal luck seems to help us with his higher level mage then any of his other characters for some reason.

Do you have stacked items?
(items that stacked over there native cap. (Mo-,Di-,Tri-mates,-fluids, Sol,Moon,Star Atomizer, Anti-dote,Antiparalyze >10 ex.))
Do you use a Mag which level is over 200?
If yes, get rid of them, because they make you find nothign.
