About spliting slimes, I need help.

I'm after a God/Power unit, which can be found by my FOnewm character on Viridia VHard, from a rare slime on Caves. Today I started the hunt at 5 pm, started Addicting Food quest and reached the room on Caves 2 with 2 slimes, then I started to splitting them and piping, my method to split is using Rabarta, I always split them from 2 slimes to 8 slimes, but at 7 pm, not even one Red Slime appeared. So here is my question:

1. ¿ I'm doing it right? I mean ¿spliting them with Rabarta is the right way? I tried with a untekked weapon but is too complicated, is a lot easier with Rabarta.

2. If I'm doing it right, ¿the thing is that I have not to much patience?

Roy you are doing it right its just that your luck with rare enemy suck for now...if you keep doing this it will appear i guess...just hope you will have better luck.

IT's pretty common you pipe for 2 hrs and found no red slimes

I once piped 4 hrs and the red slime just didn't show up, It's just luck

I've only seen a Red Slime once...he's pretty identical to the B.slime but his drop are SO different...*cry*

I would use the ???? Weapon though, miss 2x and hit on the 3rd, the Slime will split.
For me, that's easier.

When I was piping red slime, I use the 3rd hit trick with an untekked mech-gun, the 3rd hit can split the slime twice making it 6 slimes per room, although it's 2 slimes short, it's pretty fast and safe, plus i was using a hucaseal so there were no other choices.

Its fast, but once you have your Pouilly Slime, you won't want others to be there too.

You can only split a Pofuilly Slime 3x, unless you're talking about 2 Slimes.

Yes, in Addicting Food there is a room with 2 slimes

Why are you spliting the slimes before piping ? after pipe, ther again 2 slimes, so why ?

Because when you split them, the slimes spawned can be Red Slimes too.

Yes it might split a Red Slimes too. But not all the time.

It's normal for the red slimes to rarely appear. It can happen from 1 - 5000 pipes. Sometimes you just gotta have patience, which I'm sure you have. Keep at it.

I seen a Hildator and a Hildeblue. Thay are so cool loking. The Hidetor is big and it shoots out miget. It whas hard to kill him. But I got a frozen shooter out of it. That what cool.
