Towards The Future quest question?

In this quest your supposed to receive a black ring if you earn a SS rank for the min monster method on vh/ult. Ive followed the guide on this site but I only receive an A rank, now in the picture for C3 in yellow it has pan arm but in the discription underneath it doesnt say to kill the pan arm ? Do I or dont I ? and if I do does it need to joined together ?

Minimum = Fewest monsters possible

Since Pan Arms is counted as 1, and Migium and Hidoom is counted as 2, you need to kill the Pan Arm when they are stuck together, as it is fewer monsters. If they split, you need to wait for them to stick together again.

erm no. Pan Arms are counted as one, whether youkill them as such or not.
If you want to open that door in caves 3, don't kill the pan arms! Wait outside the room until the hidden Shark spawns in the room before and kill it. Ignore the Pan Arms altogether.

In forest: Hildelt, hidden Booma, Boss
In caves: hidden Shark, Lily, Lily, hidden Shark, Boss
In mines: Red Sinow, Canabine that uses Zonde, Hidden Red Sinow, Dubchic+Switch, Boss
in Ruins: Bringer, Sorcerer, hidden Dimenian, Boss.

I think you get the purple ring from this quest. I know it's not the black ring.

On blueburst you can get the blackring as well from doing minimum kills instead of max.
