PSOBB: Question about exp

I stopped playing PSO (GC) back in 2003 when those AR codes came out and I've just recently come back to PSO, but I'm playing PSOBB instead. Apparently, I have forgotten tons of things and I just wanted to ask 2 questions regarding exp:

1. Do you have to do anything to an enemy to get exp or do you just have to be near it when it dies?
2. If so, if I JZ an enemy and someone else kills it, will I get exp, or do I have to damage the enemy?

Also, I'm new to Episode 4. What level should I be to fight the Episode 4 bosses (in all difficulties)?

１： You have to do anything that affects the ennemy. Attacking (you have to hit, miss is no good. 0 damage neither) or magic (JZ, even if the ennemy is already Jd and Zd)

2: Hard to say, as I've never raised a new char with ep4. You probably won't achieve jack if you start ep4 at level 1, unless you're a force, preferably a Fonewearl obviously.
I guess the level requisites give a fair hint for untweaked chars:
Hard in unlocked at lv40, so I guess you'd need to be around lv30 for the ep4 bosses in Normal mode.
VH in ulocked at lv70, and Ult at lv110.

I'm pretty sure you have to damage an enemy, 0 damage acceptable, and J/Z does not count.

The level requisites are 20 for Hard, 40 for V.Hard, and 80 for Ultimate. You will find Ep4 quite hard, but I actually recommend getting a party together of levels 10-20 and levelling up almost entirely in Ep4 once you reach Lv10. The exp and overabundance of items make up for the difficulty. You can't do it alone, though.

J/Z tagging DOES count for EXP tags, stop spreading false information FMArthur.

Oh, and the difficulty levels for BB are different.
Normal/All Episodes/No level requirement
Hard Episode 1: Lv20+
Hard Episode 2: Lv30+
Hard Episode 4: Lv40+
Very Hard Episode 1: Lv50+
Very Hard Episode 2: Lv60+
Very Hard Episode 4: Lv70+
Ultimate Episode 1: Lv90+ (for some reason it's not 80)
Ultimate Episode 2: Lv100+
Ultimate Episode 4: Lv110+

Its 20,40,80 on older versions, and on the private servers.
