OKAY... WTF

I was looking at weapon Armour Combinations that thw Wartcher class has access too...

ONLY DAGGER ONE SO FAR:
2*Nafli-zashi
7*Nafri-senba

Is this is worth trying?
I have an old Nafli-zashi(fully grinded)
181 ATP... but 26% Light :
Should I try this combination? Maybe there's a big stat boost or something? Because come on.... NAFLI-ZASHI with a 7* armour?

Plus... I was looking around for a Nafri-Senba to try this (since I already have a maxed Nafli), and the prices are no less than 500K... for 10%dark 7* armours....

Should I bother trying this or has someone else already done so?

This BETTER have a good stat boost >_>

I think all armor/weapon combos give a 25% increase to ATP/ATA/DEF. I wouldn't quote me on this since I have never actually tested this out.

I know the Phantom Combo is like what you said, but I've heard variance per combo

It does indeed give you a boost. You'll get ATP+10 & TP+10 with the aforementioned combination.

Thanks though for telling me before I bought it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Anyone want a Nafli-Zashi(10)-26%light? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

mod-edit: pick your words more wisely from now on.

How does one check exactly what boost a weapon/armour combo gives? I thought the Equipped Items or just the regular Items screen might show it, but neither seems to.

Yeah, that combo is probably the worst out of all the armor/weapon combos. Nafr-senba is still pretty sweet though.

Most of the known combinations are on the Psupedia.org armor list, I assume based on info gathered from the JP servers....

Since the +25% bonus is based on the weapon's base stats its not worth it for the 1-3* weapon combos out there. A big 20 atp wow 4 more dmg yay!

Some damage is better than no damage.

My friend uses this, and says it is 1000x cheaper making a 50% 2* dagger than a 50% 8* dagger. He said his 2* dagger with 50% outdamages his 8* 28% by like 30 points with the armor on.

Plus, his recharges after draining 2-3 daggers is like...30 bucks. He is saving money when he recharges, when he synths 44% or higher, and still outdamages the 8* dagger with 20+ percentage. That's DAMN nice, in my opinion, and also very smart.

He currently has a nafri of every element (all over 30%), 2 of which are 50%, and another that is 44%. He is a damage machine.

Are you serious? O_O Wow!
Then.... Whats the Stat boost? It can't really be only 10 ATp...

Its the high element % advantage and base atp of the character doing all the dmg. It would be very difficult to notice any difference in weapon set pieces dmg with such low weapon base atp.

By the way NAFLI and NAFRI aren't the same so it wont work.

Rofl... Japanese can't pronounce the letter L because it doesn't exist in their language. Saying Nafli and Nafri are different is to say that the game isn't Japanese.

They are the same its just a mistranslation like Jitseen + Zeetline. Plus the Japanese use R and L interchangeably a lot.

The set bonus gives you 25% more ATP and ATA on the weapon, and 25% more DFP on the armor. A friend of mine has a 50% Light Nafli, and he said it was outdamaging a 20% Light 8* Dagger by about 25 damage a hit when attacking dark enemies. Take that as you will.

Remedy: Could you find out the dmg difference between those two daggers wihile not wearing the Nafri-Senba armor from your friend? I bet the difference is very small. Like I typed in a previous post. Its the high element % and character atp not the set bonus that makes the low star higher % weapons out damage high star lower % weapons.

I guess some people forget that with the exception of some weapons (axes high end swords etc) you start getting the bulk of your damage from character atp and element advantage at higher levels not the weapon base atp. So if you have some of these 2* daggers with high element % you don't have to wear Nafri-Senba.
