Grrr... it is always the little things that burn the most...

So I have been screwing around on FighGunner, I was 7 ATP away from being able to use a Bone Dance so I decided to grind and get that level I needed.

-.-; I got 6 from my level up, so I am 1 ATP away from using the weapon.

This ALWAYS happens when it is something you are looking forward to. It happened with my Sori-senba, was 1 DEF away from equipping it when I switched to ForteGunner. Was 2 ATP away from a Double Saber when I first switched to FighGunner. Gahh... I can't even count all the times when I was just one or two away after working to get there.

Anyone else have this happen to them as often as me?

Happens to me rather often, actually.

Sounds just like me trying to use a certain dualie (Dual Railguns) back when my Ori was lvl 28. Now he's 30. Able to use them.

Ah, thought you had the same situation I was in.

When advanced jobs came out the first thing I did with my 48 F hume (like 0%) was start a bone dance synth as 8* was the best there is.

I was sad to see that I could not equip a bone dance. (ill preparedness on my part)

Mad rushes through Relics B brought me to 49, still not there. And when I finally dinged 50, I saw to my horror that I was 1 ATP short.

So I had to actually get to figunner 2 which consisted of many many runs of relics B before I could equip the elusive bone dance. While everyone else around me was swinging their double saber I was suffering for hours and hours trying to first get to 50 from 48, and then trying to get to figunner 2. And we all remember how slow that bar moved back then. :<

Nope I've never run into this problem. Strangely enough when I switched to Ff1 from hunter, I was already able to use all the 8* weapons. But I was lvl60 with I think at the time 511ATP. Just keep leveling up, you'll get there.

Yeah uhm ..when I went from ranger 10 to fortegunner 1. I lost 32 def. I cant even equip a sori right now...let alone my phantom line

Wait. a lv70 fT10 Newearl has higher DFP than a FOmarl? I have 67. Soon as my Yamata-senba synths(5 hours away from 16 hour timer and 35% success rate).

XD I wouldnt re-roll just because I cant use an item, yet. I'll just have to wait for the update for the lvl 80 cap in the US version.

Until then, I will be synthing many many many many Yamata-Senbas in hopes of recieving a 50% dark,fire,ice,light,earth,etc.

Edit: On second thought, I have a Female Newman as my alt... I've been dying to play her but I have set my priority till next lvl cap update that I would try to cap all my techs first ><

In the end I just ended up grinding Bruce B 'til PT4. That shot up my 132 ATA to 151, so that gets me my laser AND my launcher! =D

Well Garnet, seeing how female has 5% higher def than males, that would make sense.

And I havn't personally had this problem yet...but a caseal fortegunner and equipments with ATA reqs go well together I suppose.

This used to happen a lot in PSO, as well. I remember that it seemed to take friggin' forever to get my RAcast up to where he could use his Gi Gue Bazooka; there were a great deal of TTF runs done over the course of one weekend... Then a great deal more the next...
