Shewby probably read "cancel synth" and thought of the board disconnect glitch which was recently fixed.

And no, you do in fact lost all materials. I guess I have no dignity, but I used the board exploit constantly while it worked. A few synths were canceled days after synthing, most were canceled within 8 hours of completion. All lost all materials, just as it is stated that you will.

Not that there is any point to canceling a synth now anyway.

Well it wasn't fixed on the 360 version. I just cancelled a failed Howrod synth this morning, and am currently cooking the fourth attempt on that board http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
May it only affects synths STARTED after the patch?
Anyways it's pretty cool they didn't fix it on the 360. PS2/PC everybody is rolling around in cash anyway, but on the 360 I'd find it hard to justify paying 320K+ for a Howrod when stores sell 165K Mayrods.

I didn't know the exploit was on the 360, as well.

Well it's going to take tem forever in a day to fix tat one..

I'm just glad the bug is there. Heck, boards shouldn't lose uses on failed synths in the first place. Even with a pure, costs for creating 8 star force and ragnger weaps are easily higher than store prices.

yeah, i meant the glitch which is still doable in the 360 version. i didn't really mean anything by it. i know some people that play straight up legitimately and i think that's respectable. i didn't use the glitch until i went 1 for 12 on 9* weapons. after that i cancelled until i got my first attempt on the new boards, but afterwards i took my dimates. i won't lie, though, if i had a crea double board and failed, i'd probably cancel it.

i think they should lose uses

if not, then why just hav the NPC sell u a weapon in any element of your choice?

its sad enough that yall [exploiters] are doing it in the 1st place

Haha doh I didn't know the 360 still had this. So do you guys still have the swimsuit glitch or did they actually take the time to "fix" that one?

Legitimate play is nice and all, I'll trade my dignity for a rare board like [B] Crea Doubles any day.

The swimsuit glitch and the synth glitch is pending for update. It will take a little bit longer for us to get the fix, but we will eventually get it I believe.
