View Full Version : wtf?? how come i didn't lose my boards?!?!

last night... i started synthing 3 Shiratsuno Zashi. I only bought 3 boards... today, 2 made into 20%+ light, and one broke... and now I STILL have the boards in the synth list... wtf >_<

On the bottom of the board should be a number like 1/5 or 1/3. The first number is the remaining 'charges' or remakes the board can handle, the second number is the max charges that the board has.

It was stated in an interview that performing multiple synths simultaneously will decrease your chances of success. Has anyone tested this to be certain?

I think that one was a rumor and not in the interview. And even if it is true, I still seem to be able to pop out multiple 9* weapons like it was nothing, even when synthing 30 at a time.

I know that the thing about synthing 5 Grinders at once will raise the success rate (as in higher grinders) was in that interview though.

Again, it wasn't stated in that manner about grinders. It was more of a "You can avoid chaos theory a bit and get higher grinders quicker by synthing more", not "You have better synthing rates with more grinders synthed". IE 5 +10 grinders in 20 synths > hoping for random chance to give you 5 +10 grinders in 100 synths.

From my own synthing I realized that Grinder +10s need to be made on the first grind, making it just more efficient to grind all 5 at once.

When you put a grinder in the synth it says something like Grinder B+10. If you synth a Grinder B+2 from it, chances are you won't get anything higher than a B+8 on your second synth. And once your total synths = B+10, expect B+1's from the rest of the board.

YOu people don't really know shit about grinders... I make my living off of grinder making / selling.

It is all luck...

I can get +10's after grinding at least 40 or so B or C grinder bases. It is all luck...
It has nothing to do with the previous +w/e# grinder.

I make about 200 grinders a day, and that was my conclusion from it all. I get +10s a lot quicker if I grind all 5 on the first grind, and I never, ever get a +10 if it isn't the first use on the board.

I have. I had 8 out of 10 sucsesful synths.

Where in the world was that said? Mini-Mey has been known to produce 5/6 Gur Napams (4 Gur Napams, 1 Gur Nedac) from 2 boards simultaneously alongside a whole jubilee of low-rank weapons I stock the shop with.
