I am a lvl 28 newman, with lvl 8 subtype(thats what I call it... sorry I really cannot find anything online to help me on this). I understand when my subtype becomes lvl 10 I am able to choose a specialist type, ie, fortechecher, gunctecher, so on.

I am getting pretty near that mark and ppl are asking me ehat IO am going to be. I don't want to sound to dumb by asking what they mean or I don't know.

I know that these are like PSO forces, hunters, rangers... some have better profiency in some weps, more HP, more TP and other things.

I know many forves have ecome fortechers and regret that for various reasons. That leads to my next question is it reversable? That is to say can you build up another subtype and use it or are you commited....? Again, sorry to sound stupid, if anyone could give me a URL that covers this subject I'd be so greatfull.

Again sorry for the dumb questions, I kind of like understand but don't. PSO is still in my mind on PSU! Longlive PSO.

Yes you can change to any of the 3 basice types (force hunter ranger) its the expert types require certain lvls in certain basic types. Like GunTecher is lvl 5 ranger and lvl 3 force ForteTecher is lvl 10 force etc. Go to the 5th floor of the colony to change types.

Is it posiible you or snyone can give me alink? I am thinking of changhing. On Guild Wars I am a Elementist/Monk, totally support role, but on SU it sucks, nobosy really appreactes you and you miss out on points, pick ups becuase of the lag.

So I am thnking a ranger. Guns and techs> What you rhink?

On PSO I was the either the hunter that had a good mag on MST for techs or the forve that could use lvl 30 spells but excellent abilliets using weps.

The thing is on PSO I never liked rangers but on OSU I can see how being a force and being profiecent at tchs could work.

The other prob is I think that forces have been given a bit of a raw deal. Like if I was a fotecher I would get low HP, rods/wands that are not to great and also be a burden to my party because of my low HP.

Because of my high evasion and so on, I could use wands and guns, bows. Yep I think thats the way I'd ;ike to go. So what do I do now.

Of course, I need to be able to aquire the said weps first. So.... I think the subtypes are only really usefull for the cool weps.

Sorry to come across as a lamer.

If anyone has a link to a page that could help me out hee I'd be really greatfull.

Requirements, stats (roughly), available weapons, cost of change, etc.

edit: You sound like you might want to be a guntecher.

Requirements are 5 RA and 3 FO. You meet the FO requirement, so the next step would be to switch jobs to Ranger and familiarize yourself with guns. Specifically twin pistols, rifles, and maybe shotguns.

When your ranger subtype is 5, you will be able to change to a guntecher if that is the path you want. Guntechers are good with ranged weapons, and can do some minor healing, buffing, and debuffing. You won't be able to nuke much though.
