It is your characters ability to reduce the chance status effects work on you.

Stamina is the thing that helps you last longer while playing Megid Dodge Ball. That, and ducking behind friends so they eat the ball of purple plasma before you. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

End. doesn't affect the chance that megid has to kill you, does it? I've heard it is always the same chance of death unless megid does 0 damage.

I swear i've been hit for 0 damage and Megid killed me.

Sometimes it passes through me and does nothing. No 0, no lineshield block, etc.
Sometimes it does 0.
Sometimes it does 1 or more.

I don't really remember if it was on the 1 or 0 tick, but it sure felt like the 0 tick is the one that got me. Could have been lag.

EDIT: Made it a little more clear.

Well, if your armor 0's it out, it doesn't necessarily mean it missed. You were still hit and thus, eligible for doom-ball-rape.

Slightly more on-topic...these fellows above me are correct. END=SE resist.

you can clearly see for yourself that megid's instant capacitation is a status effect. it even has an SE level. it just its hard to raise stamina online. offline chars have like 10 more stamina than online ones. theres also a really nice hunter only armor that raises stamina.

This topic does nothing more but reinstate my hatred for Megid, -_-

END (endurance) is the rate of PP regeneration. FACT
STA (stamina) is your resistance to status effects. FACT

100% correct, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Megid is not that bad http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

STA and END are the exact same thing. They determine SE resistance.

english version of PSU -> STA
japanese version of PSU -> END

STA = END = SE resistance.

If Megid is considered a SE then why do I get insta-pwnt when I get hit by one in Nanoblast. Arent we immuned to SE in NB? >_>

Considering the gauge charges every other room in the harder stages, being immune to Megid in certain stages is extremely broken and overpowered. 60 second invulnerability to Megid in almost every room? Right. Sega did a good job letting Megid hit them.
