Cheapest use en empty character slot and recreate human or beasts. Place their two melee weapons in common box and repeat. Use these 1* weapons to counter the tech increase from feeding it consumable items like star atomizers and moon x's.

1. Feed it dimates. When the Tech is about to lvl you feed it 2 star hunter weapons to bring it back down. Rinse and Repeat

2. Buy/Make Fruit Juice. Adds + 12 I think to Strike. When Tech is about to lvl, feed it 2 star hunter weapons to bring it back down. Best price Ive found in Player shops is 450m

3. Or do what golto reccomended. It was too boring for me to do it that way tho.

Cheap
A new way to do this is to simply do the story missions up to chapter 4. At chapter 4 the second part you can get free sabers at the first box. This may take a bit more time than the whole recreate character at the start, but after you complete the first 3 chapters you may find it easier if you are on the xbox and constantly get the interupt message. Besides it may be safer if you are prone to mistakes and don't want to delete your other character by mistake.

Steps
1. Complete chapter 1,2,3 online at the 5th floor of the colony.
2. Start chapter 4 and complete the first part.
3. Start part 2 of chapter 4.
4. Open the first box and you will find a saber.
5. Abandon mission
6. Repeat from step 4. If you leave you have to start from step 2.

It may take upto an hour to complete the chapters, but if you want to enjoy the story that's a bonus. Overall this is less effective than the recreate tactic until you actually get to chapter 4. Then I would say that it's roughly the same, if not better depending on how often you can get online. The real bonus is that there is more safety doing this way then the recreate, but if you pay attention to the recreate version you shouldn't have a problem.

Anyhow, it's up to you to decide which one to do. If you do this one I would suggest using dimates Trimates to up your striking some, and then use the sabers to drop the tech. You should be able to hold roughly 50 sabers per run, so that means 2 of these runs should get you a feeding by themselves.

EDIT: Because it posted before I was finished. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

EDIT2: I'm unsure if dimates give more tech than striking since it has been a while. I would check psupedia.org for the values of recovery items to make sure. I will put a link in a few seconds.

EDIT3: Checked into it, feed your PM any recovery item that has an ODD star level. Meaning Trimate 3*, Moon Atomizer X 7*, etc... Link to the psupedia page enclosed.

yup thats the cheapest and its a pain, its worse for force cuz you only get one wand per char. You should shop around player shops, pay maybe 500 for 2* and 800 for 3* if you have the cash

Why would you want to lower it, though?

From what I heard dimates give more tech per striking so better to feed it monomates or trimates.

Edit: Lol, Alice posted this same thread in gameplay too.

The reason you would want to lower it (with "it" being tech) is because it will level and cause you to get a 80 striking/20 tech (I think that's the ratio) PM. It's not a bad idea if you just want to raise one fast.

Pure PM's have the advantage of a little better synthing, however, with the percents that 7*+ weapons have it may be the difference between sucessful synths and failing.

Fastest way is feeding it 9* Melee weapons. This is extremely costly though, and not recommended unless you're on the PC side with max meseta on all 4 chars and PM's.

I made mine by browsing player shops for cheap 3* weapons (sometimes finding them as cheap as 200-300 XD), and feeding it fruit juices, groovy juices and moons.

Basically I would do a few runs for hustle berries/moon x's then spend the cash I made in player shops. As my pm got higher I made my own 3* weapons with photons and fed it those. Creating characters for 2 sabers was wayyy tedious, but it is free^^ (just kind of slow)

What I did was feed my PM 25 Moon Atomizers and 75 2* melee weapons at each feeding session. The Moon Atomizers are super cheap +12 Striking and +3 TECH, and the 2* weapons counter the TECH increase. Using this method your PM will gain 9 Striking levels per feeding session. Of course, you could substitute 2* weapons for 1*s if you want.

and how exactly do you manage to gather 75 melee weaps in each feeding? hah

and i thought pure strike was tedious and it is.

try raising just the tech, its twice as tedious
