Some of you may have noticed earlier today that you couldn't access your room and if you were already in your room you couldnt use any menus. This was because sega was doing maintenance on the rooms, you should now be able to feed your PM normally.

In other news...
During the room maintenance people that tried to enter their room by using an orange crystal instead got a menu to change the world their character was linked to.
Apparently on the JP pc/ps2 server some people noticed a "world 3" on this list and changed to it, they are now playing among the 360 demo players from their PCs and PS2s. Too bad they now only have access to linear line, raffon plains, and mizuraki C.D.

Hopefully SEGA gets all those chars moved back...

If this is true then why not just put us all on the same server? Let's ruin the once-great 360 economy! Let's petition ST! >:3

Seriously though that is kinda funny. I bet people in the beta were saying "What!? A level 70!"

EDIT: Made the first part a bit more sarcastic...

Oh Sega, you never cease to amaze me. First you undo the cheating protection that worked for a week, now this. What hijinks will you pull off next?

The xbox360 demo players play on server #1 aka the JP pc/ps2 server, they are isolated on an extra world called "world 3" that the pc/ps2 JP players cannot usually access. That is why if you look at the Game IDs of xbox360 demo players they have the number 1 at the beginning of the ID number, that is the same as JP pc/ps2 players. pc/ps2 US/EU players have number 2 at the beginning of IDs and full game 360 players have number 3.

You can identify JP pc/ps2 players on the 360 demo by their higher levels and stats, their glitchy looking characters, and if you try to view their xbox360 gamercard it will show a blank menu.

lol I just partied with a glitchy looking Level 46 JP player in the 360 Demo. I wonder if our voice chat comes through their TV speakers?

Doubtful, due to the fact that the headset is desigend specificly to wire its transmission from one to the other...without another recogized port the singnal is lost. Unless the Xbox plays headset chat through the TV when the headset itself isn't plugged in.

I think this warrants a big WTF is going on!?

World 1 = 360 demo server!?!?!
Does this mean the servers CAN be linked!?!?!?
Do we WANT the servers to be linked!?!?!?

gaaaah! *head explodes*

Um, uh...

As for linked servers, as much as I want to play with my friend on the PC version, I dunno if I really want to give up hack-free for it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Well actually I still have the X360 Demo of PSU from when the "Great X360 Players" got to beta online before the PC/PS2. I tried it and it works. LOL, but we are far away from the PC/PS2 players. They can't mess up the good ol Xbox360 economy. Also I'm pretty sure they can EASILY tell if your not even on that console, cuz your sure not commin up as an X360.

Well one thing I noticed is that it doesn't feeze when the PM evolves. Which is a good thing IMO.

you cant try it now, you could only swap worlds during the room maintenence. But the people that swapped worlds are stuck where they swapped to now. They have to create new characters to go back to normal.

There's no way PC/PS2 users just magically connected to Xbox Live. This is bullshit, and the lack of any sources or viable evidence proves this.

this is EXACTLY the reason I always lock my room right before maintainance and only "unlock it" after I know things are going ok again.........and I never give out my card or accept anyone elses.........it's just not worth it!!!!!

Damn Hackers to Hell!

^ you must live a very lonely PSU life Seph. I give out my card to anyone I've had a decent party with and accept most of the ones I receive. Makes the game alot more fun having people you sort of know to play with.

Also, pics or i call bulshit.

Wouldn't crossing over the 360/pc/ps2 servers cause some problems, like lag, and ofcourse the 360 will be faster than the ps2, and etc...
