WHAT IS MST AND TP?

Ok, so I just boguth a Sori-senba armor and it has every slot. I am a cast guntecher but I am also new to using a head slot. Can anyone recommend a descent head slot? And can someone please explain to me what is TP and MST? What is the diff?

TP - Technic Power

TP=Your techs, and how much damage they do to an enemy. Determines if you're able to equip certain weapons (wands/rods) or not.

MST=Your opponent's techs, and how much damage they do to you.
