Megid question

In PSO I seem to remember that a cast could walk straight into a blast if megid unharmed, and I was wondering if it is same in PSU. I am a cast and as I run around in missions like lab recovery I am usually hit with about 5 megids per run, but have not yet died from it, only taken damage. Am I correct in assuming megid does not OHKO casts?

No; megid can still instant-kill anyone, even CASTs.

Casts esp fortegunners + suv extra slot have higher sta than other class/race combos. That is why you don't die from megid as often.

No, it was Poison and Paralyze that casts were immune to. Megid tore them up something awful. They almost seemed more vulnerable to it; though that may just be the shock of having something devastating come out of nowhere, when a cast is used to mostly not worrying about status effects.

ah, you're right it was the poison, are they resistant to poison in PSU then?

Nope....we get status effects just like everyone else.
