PSU-XBox 360: What kind of armor can a Protranser use?

Sorry for asking, but what good armor can protransers use? Im usually a fortecher and have Hoza-senba..while if I switch to protranser..I can really only use my Megaline X_x...(its not a lack of DFP thing..it really says "cannot use:type")

Some armor are ranger class only... like the midline...

u cant equip a gigaline? or the 6* version?

I started out with a Megaline and changed back to my Teroline at PT4 I think.

Considering Hoza-Senba is Force-Only armor, I'd say that's the reason you can't equip it as a Protranser. Also, going Protranser 1 gimps your stats tremendously, so you may not have the DFP to equip anything past 4* to start, depending on when you make the jump.

In the future there will be an armor with all 4 slots, can be any element (unlike Sori-senba) and is PT only. So don't think of this as ST hating PTs ;p

Shop at Yohmei for armor for lower DFP requirements. You'll be able to wear higher-grade gear there than anywhere else.

Best armor for protranser is whatever cuts damage the most, I'd say! Try to get armor with higher % numbers against things in areas you want to fight in. My 50% elec stellaline cuts damage from Go Vahras by about 50%, compared to 12% Dark Phantom Line. This is of course nearly impossible to find, so scour player shops frequently and look for lower level armors -- most long-time players know the value higher level armor and weapons with big % numbers carry.

Or make it yourself... roll on those low-end armors whenever you've got a pile of 'silica. You never know when you'll get lucky.

We can't use any of the class-specific armors, and then a lot... all?... of the remaining high end choices are element-specific. It's a pain in the butt; makes getting custom armor to cover element resists (without losing my SUV slot) suck.

Teroline isn't type specific... that's Midiline.
It's possible you don't have enough defense however.
