Does anybody miss having bare fisted combat from PSO?

I miss going Tony Jaa on the stuff like I did with the booma's for fun. Some times I would walk around kicking stuff.

There are more than a few PA's where you kick as one of your attacks.

Yes indeed there is some kicks in a few PAs but I'm talking pure fists and feet and not anything with bladed implements.

Super fast FOmar barehand cast...spamming that was so fun. I also miss physical attacks with Rods/Wands...I'd be willing to give up one of the TECHNIC slots on a Rod for basic combo.

yes i miss it alot. whenever a enemy would piss me off i would take off my weapon and fist fight it to make it more exciting. i guess thats why i use the knuckles alot in this game

I agree with you guys 100%, even on my FOmar I usually equipped weapons cuz they looked cool, like that one force only sword that the special attack shot foie. Other than that though, bare handed casting/casting shifta and punching booma's in the face ftw.

"naked runs" where you unequipped everything and went punching. It was common for higher level players when helping low levels, to go into punching mode. It helped not steal exp and sometimes even shamed the low levels. And everyone could use a little shame now and againn.

I do miss that aspect. I would run around all the time in normal mode. I did forest to falz runs with just fists. Hell, one of my other favorite things was to beat Ruins on Hard and Very hard using ONLY the flower bouquet. God, I miss the flower bouquet. I doubt we can expect quests and items like that from PSU. Sad face.

I really miss the weaponless attacks, they were slow and innaccurate, as well as low-powered, but it was something, in PSU if you don't have a weapon, you don't get to attack... that's dumb, what if you sold all your weps? then your screwed, but that'd be stupid anyway...

Also it was really fun to go back to the early missions once you were super-leveled and one-shot boomas with your bare-hands XD
