Well the thing about games is they have multiple choices that a player has somewhat control over. (Even "game over" is effected by player skill)

Think if watcher can vote (or have some effect) on different branches for a movie or something it'd be more successful.

I don't think that movies need to be more like games to be successful.

No of course not (Good movies still bring in lots of revenue)... my statement was only for movies based on games.

Maybe I should just withdraw my comment entirely. Bad movies won't appeal enough to make a large profit over their budget.

You so crazy I wouldn't even laugh at that joke Rasputin guy.

Serious thought not needed for stupid topic.

Please laugh at stupid topic and blame the topic creator for making bad topics. And stop pressing 2.

I think it depends on the game.

A game with much story, could make a good movie, if the story would proper be transported.
(unlike in FF:The Spirits with in, or how the movie was called, where the story had no relation to Final Fantasy.)

But on action game, the problem is, the movie maker want always to bring a story with in the movie.
But i would like one day to see a movie with only action or absolute minor story.
And in that case action games would also make, a good movie.

(anyone also thinks, the whole blabla in Matrix, crippled the movie?
Specially the scene with Neo and Trinity in the third movie, where Trinity dies.)

Games based off good movies usually sell heaps no matter how bad they are, look at Scarface, good movie, terrible game. Yet it sold thousands of copies.
On a related note, I now own this. (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2596387)
