You know how there is a B-1, B-2, B-3, and B-X spawns?

Is it possible to have a different spawn pattern not listed under the 4?

Its concievable that a map could have a B-4 spawn, but unlikely.

i think it is like this: B-1, B-2 and B-3 all refer to different maps for the level. Then each of those maps has a few different spawns to it. E.G. in Hive, C-3 uses the same map as C-X and that map has about 4 different spawns(including the C-X spawn). So I guess it could be notated like this: C-3-1, C-3-2 etc.

If I'm understanding you correctly, then you are close but not quite right. The letters represent the different map layouts. Map "A" is different from Map "B" is different from Map "C". The numbers represent different map spawns. Map "A-1" is different from Map "A-2" is different from Map "A-3" and so forth.

The rare map is indicated by the layout and the spawn. Map "A-X", "B-X", and "C-X" are all rare. As to the possibility of different map layouts and combinations I would say that it is possible, however, probably unlikely.
