If each post in FKL counted, how many posts do you think you'd have? For me maybe around 900-1100.

For myself, something like 4784, by the time this post is up. This doesn't, however, take into consideration any posts I have from 2001/2002 that were lost in the Great Forum Purge.

Counting this post, I have about 1458 posts in FKL, plus my legitimate (ie, non-bastard) post count of 3348 comes up to 4806 (which apparently means that 22 of my posts from the 2001/2002 period are missing).

This can all be figured out easily enough.

Go to the Forum Search (http://www.pso-world.com/searchbb.php) and search for posts where the author is yourself. "Search in:" should be set to, "Message Body", Unique Topics turned off. Number of results does not matter at this stage. Hit the Search button, then scroll down to the bottom of the first page of results and hit the link to the Next page.

The second page of results will have a URL that looks something like this:
http://www.pso-world.com/searchbb.php?submit=1&search_username=HUnewearl_Meira&searchboth=text&start=50&num_results=50&sortby=date

Let's break that up a bit, shall we?

The first point to consider this where the example says HUnewearl_Meira:

&search_username=HUnewearl_Meira

Change "HUnewearl_Meira" to your own username to search for your posts.

Next is the meat of the operation. The Start parameter:

&start=50

This is essentially how many search results were skipped to find the first result displayed on the page. Estimate how many posts you should have in total, and replace the "50" from the example with that. If there are no results, then reduce the number. If there is a link to the next page at the bottom, then increase the number. Continue doing these until you have found the last page of search results.

When you've found the last page, count up the number of results on the page, and add them to the Start parameter. That's your total number of posts.

You can find out how many posts you have in any specific forum by limiting the scope of the initial search to that forum.
