Are we ready for the next update?

If I'm not mistaken, the next update will implement the final PAs for a few weapons. I'm sure we all have something to look forward to.

I myself am rather low on PA fragments, due to my low level (Just got lv51 yesterday), but if parties start grinding Mad Creatures I shouldn't have a problem. Dispite the lack of S rank weapons out, I'm planning on filling out my palette with the weapons I'll be using in the future, so it seems wise to start working on those now. As such, I eventually plan on getting the final dual claw, single claw, handgun, and fists PAs (In order of importance to me). Of course, the fact that I don't own any claws may pose a problem, but my pure striking PA should be ready soon enough after the update. I'm not exactly sure of the PA cost for each of these PAs, but I estimate I'd need around 200 PA fragments to get all of them (I currently have 30). I just recently learned that I cannot access A rank missions, so I am not capable of S ranking those for quick PA fragments (I'd be able to get 100 extra PA frags from them).


So, what PA is everyone else getting? How close are you to getting the PA or group of PAs that you want?

That's all I plan to get. I'll spam Mad Creatures soon and finally cap out my PA frags. I have something like 6/700. I like to be prepared.

I'm going to buy Megid and just go down the list (except skip Megiverse and Giresta...so just the 3 Nosu- techs). Although after I get those 4 techs, I'll probably go buy Megiverse and Giresta just for the heck of it...I can't imagine I'll bother leveling Giresta, and probably won't use Megiverse until I have a stable 6 Mayrod palette (working on #5).

I would have more than 99 PA frags if I wasn't on hiatus, but with what I have, I'm having a hard time to chose between 2: Megid or Regrants. Which one would be better to have earlier?

From what research I've done.

The verdict: Megid is hella weak. Regrants takes HP, but resta cures that .

Personally, Megid and Giresta are last on my list of things to have. Giresta is interesting, but eh.. I'mma wait on that one.

I've heard Regrants has such a ridiculously low power that it's not worth getting (unless you want to be a super Fortetecher with all 36 techs capped or something). Then again, Megid levels slow and moves slow too last I checked.

In my opinion, I'd get Megid since Regrants doesn't even appear to be out yet, and even if Regrants was out, I'd get Megid. Mainly because it does more damage, can cause infection (I think...I've seen Deljaban's fake Megid cause it) or instant death, and pierces.

Anyone with the Perfect Bible got the Regrants level 30 stats? I think someone said that the attack power is <100%.


EDIT: Possible problem is that Megid levels really slow...no idea about Regrants.

I have 75 PA frags, enough for the twin dagger PA which I wanted first anyways. AND I haven't done any of the Story Missions to get those, so that's a lot more right there ripe for the taking

I think I have 203-204 PA fragments and that's enough to get me Tornado Dance and the twin dagger PA with a little left over. I know I want to get Splendor Crush (I like trying things first hand before calling it bad), the cross bow PA, Twin Mayelee, and the machine gun PA sounds like a really good choice with the launching effect. at this point, since im practically 70, im gonna spam mad creatures, so i can get the last 3 dark spells, and the ultimate dagger PA for my alt, and maybe splender crush...

to the ppl who want megido, prepare to be very disappointed. there are 5 total dark attacks, which means you cant fit em all on one rod. i usually cant have 2 dark rods, so i often find myself limited to 4 techs only. which one do i leave out?

yep, megido.... by far the least useful dark attack. its good when you have a line of light enemies, but for all other situations, your better off w/ a different tech. 64 pp per shot too ><

the instant kill ability is just awful, to say the least. the only time it has a somewhat decent chance of working is on very small and weak monsters, or the mid size robots (the ones in the hakura temple and all other reskinned versions). all other monsters have high resistance to instant death making megido a bad choice. the small guys and robots die so fast from other attack techs anyway, so even then your better off not using megido -_-;;

all 3 nosu techs and megiverse are excellent however. (^_^)

well, on the 360, Dammegid past 21, the animation is broken, its really high in the air, and makes it EXTREMELY hard to aim, and ill need a 4th dark move that attacks, so i shall be getting it, could care-less if it kills or not

I'm gonna get the new double saber PA of course, not sure about the claws one but everyone seems to want it so prob that one, then the others who knows maybe daggers or twin guns.

I only have 22 frags right now, going to tr to (realistically) boost to about 50 by update, which won't be enough to buy my PA but at least it will be closer. Don't think i have enough time to farm for more than that by the end of the week.

I think many people are getting the dual claw one because it both looks flipping sweet and because it's the only twin weapon that fortefighters have an S rank access to. I suppose, though, that fists count as a twin weapon style, but that PA looks terrible.
