I've been doing countless runs of Linear Line and Parum Mad Beast runs every day and I'm getting a bit dissipointed that I haven't ran into the cute little fat pink hearshaped Rappies..It's like they know I'm looking for them..to murder them and steal their goodies..http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

The problem is that you're looking for them! I did the same thing with the Rappy Noels....couldn't find them when I looked. Then I gave up. Then I saw two spawns of them in two days...it was surprising.

I did about 30 or so runs on Mad Creatures C yesterday just to try and see them (much less get the room decor), but without success. So, last night, before my group got together, I decided to do one quick romp through it again just to see.

Block 1, hill road, two Polties. I'm thinkin' "okay, Polties are good". Obliterate everything, go to Block 2. Kill the three Polties and then the four Distova in the cave, and head towards the other side, expecting the traditional four Vahra that always greet me to be at the other end. Instead, to my surprise/shock/horror, I find...

So, there might be some relevance to your theory, but it all comes down to luck in the end. As for me, I got three BT Lovers room decors (gave 'em to my group) and a Rappy Feather.

Don't give up your search, though. If you do, that means the Rappies win, and they laugh at you, and mock you, and make weird-sounding noises at you, and it's not pretty. So, find them, ogle them, love them, then beat the stuffing out of them for goodies. Good luck in finding them...

Just a quick question. Since these rappies drop new items, does this mean that I've lost my chance until the update is done to find a skill pp save unit? I've been wanting one of those...

Also, when hunting, keep in mind Murphy's law. Anything that can happen, will happen, and at the worst possible moment. Keeping this in mind, the most least likely thing to happen is going to be what ends up happening. In other words, once you give up looking for these, you'll do a random PA fragment party and find them. As soon as you kill them, the server will die and you'll lose the drop. Either that, or you you'll end up having the item distribution on random, and somebody will walk in at the last minute and get claim to your rares.

Doesn't work. I never ever seen Regular Rappies, and I did give up the search for a time.

I also want a PP save unit. I know otherwise, it'll be easier for me to make one myself than to buy one.

Did you REALLY give up the search, or did you just say you were giving up the search, hoping that would make them appear. The rappies know the difference my friend....the rappies know.

I have been surprised to see them everytime, save one. And that one time, we decided to pick up these two random guys in the lobby and during our SW run, one of them let us know it was a rappy spawn...but all the other times, complete surprise.

I'm currently helping a friend hunt Jaggos now. We haven't seen them for 5 days....the Jaggos know too, my friend.

Actually, I really did indeed give up the search. Basically doing missions just for other things, including materials.

Honestly, at this point I would have preferred to not have found any rappies.

A friend and I were doing A-Rank Onma Gohg... in the end we had multiple waves of rappies all throughout the run (single run) at the end we had accumulated two rappy feathers and six BT-lovers.

The problem is... my friend got everything except one feather.

The REAL problem, was that distribution was "Set in Order" and more than twice there were two picked up in a row.

Same thing with the 3(?) [B]Calaud he got. For about five minutes after noticing this happening I kept track and lost out on more than 80% of what we picked up, including meseta.
